  Can't say enough good things about our experience here. We started our son at 10 months somewhere else, but moved here shortly thereafter despite the longer drive. There is an exceptional level of accountability and transparency that is obviously part of the management philosophy, which instills a great deal of confidence and trust as a parent that my child is receiving exactly the care that I expect. Just as important, every teacher seems to genuinely care and connect with the children, which has been particularly significant for our son, who struggled with separation. Thanks to the excellent relationships the teachers in his room have built with him, the anxiety has become a non-issue. Another big deal for us: they spend a great deal of time outside and are otherwise engaged in creative activities every single day. I continue to be impressed with the consistency and quality of activities that our son gets to enjoy (which we get to see during the day from the great pictures they take of him and send via the app). There is a lot of love in this place, and we are so happy to have found it.

  We had a great experience at Discovery Isle with our toddler. The teachers are top notch and they do a lot of activities and crafts, they have an app where they regularly post photos of your child and how their day is going. Loved how well they communicated with Parents and took care of the children.

  We love Discovery Isle Carlsbad and have been very happy with it since our son started there at 3 months of age. The school is well run by a team of talented and caring administrators led by Ms. Vanessa and Ms. Brandi, and the teachers we've had have in my son's classrooms have also been fantastic. Communication with parents is excellent and the leadership actively strives to make sure that parents are kept in the loop and well informed. Most importantly, my son comes home each day happy and excited about what he has accomplished and learned that day. We view DI as a family now and have made friends with other parents in the school community. We strongly recommend DI Carlsbad.

  I honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience at Discovery Isle. From the very beginning, I’ve felt such a sense of comfort knowing my daughter is surrounded by teachers who truly love what they do. Miss Bella, Miss Sonya, Miss Carmen, Miss Penny, every single one of them pours their heart into these kids. You can feel it in the way they greet them in the morning, the patience they show, and the joy they bring to every little activity. The days are filled with the sweetest, most creative activities (art projects, sensory play, songs, little themed days) and you can tell how much thought and care go into making every day special. My daughter comes home happy, confident, and full of new things she’s learned, and that says it all. A huge thank you also to Ms. Vanessa and Ms. Brandi, whose kindness and leadership create such a warm, loving environment. We are so grateful to have found a place where our daughter is not only learning so much, but is genuinely loved and understood. It means the world to us. ❤️

  Absolutely loved this school and are really sad to leave (moving out of state). The principle Vanessa and assistant principal Michelle are absolutely amazing and run the school so well, with care and attention. All the teachers are amazing and we had exceptional experiences with the infant and toddler teachers. My son loved his teachers and friends and matured so much in his time there. We’ve been to numerous schools over the past 7 years for my kids and Discovery Isles is definitely top of the exceptional list. Thank you to the wonderful staff for taking such good care of my child and for being genuinely good human beings!
