Located at the original site of Townsend Middle School, Pima Medical Institute’s Flagship campus encompasses a 50,000 square-foot building and 25,000 square-foot courtyard. The former school was repurposed and the interior completely remodeled to highlight large classrooms, spacious study areas, real-world labs and training facilities as well as a nursing simulation lab with arena seating. Founded in Tucson in 1972, this new building cemented the legacy of Pima Medical’s founder, Richard Luebke Jr. and it shows the commitment of the school to the community, students and staff. The Tucson campus offers six certificate and seven associate degree programs.
