My daughter has attended this Kinder Care location since July 2023 and we will be unenrolling her. I’ve went back & fourth with this decision for a while now but after experiencing certain things I believe it was time. In August she got sick for the first time.. & then the letters started getting sent out every other week. The first one was in October COVID and then Head Lice was a few days later and then another case of Head Lice, Step Throat, Flu & 3 COVID exposures in the month of December. My daughter has literally been sick every week since October. I would get her back in good health & then BOOM!! I would send her back and she is sick AGAIN!! It was so hard for me to work because I had to constantly keep her home. That just let me know their cleaning procedures are not working or not being done at all. Because it’s no way every week these kids should be sick like this. I would drop my daughter off and would see all of the kids noses running with snot. & some of teachers would literally be looking at their nose run and not even attempt to wipe it. I would have to wipe some of the poor kids noses because as a mother I can’t look at a child like that and just walk away. With all of this being said I’m aware at daycare kids are prone to get sick it’s inevitable. Especially with the high ratio of child/teacher. But, the staff have to do their job to make sure they’re not increasing the exposure of the kids getting sick which means cleaning frequently and making sure that runny noses are being cleaned when they see it. The director Cecilia said that she didn’t feel the need to send the children home for a runny nose but that’s the first sign that the child is getting sick or is already sick. I also, blame some parents for bringing their sick child into school knowingly. I get that us as parents have to work and hate loosing out on money. I’m a single parent myself which means I have no help and if my child get sick and I have to call off and keep her home that’s money I can’t afford to miss either but at the same time my daughter health and the other children health is important so I have to make that sacrifice. Furthermore, the staffing changes was definitely an issue as well. The center definitely is understaffed and need help BADLY ‼️‼️ the constant change in teachers was ridiculous. Because, it left the kids in dangerous situations with only one teacher being in the room. My daughter is big on “stranger danger “ so, it was hard for her to get adjusted to new faces constantly especially because she only wanted and liked one teacher in her class. I did notice that after a while my daughter would scream and cry when we would pull up to the school which was ODD to me! I’ve spoken to different parents and they have experienced A LOT of what I experienced and thought it was normal or want to leave but haven’t made that step yet. but as a second time mom I know some of this is NOT normal and need to be fixed immediately! My daughter had a few incident reports and what I didn’t like was the teachers never had a clear explanation on what caused the incident I didn’t like that. Lastly, I did appreciate the videos and pictures I got throughout the day that eased my mind a little. & the director was nice and tried to help with any issues that I had. I hope with me providing this feedback that the center get better overtime those children deserve Quality child care & nothing less!

I absolutely love this center. My baby has been going here since she was 6 weeks old. There is a warmth when you walk in that is amazing.
