  This daycare is the reason none of my kids will step foot in a center ever again. Both of my kids attended KinderCare for a little over 2 years. My youngest was about 4-5mo when we enrolled them. In the beginning we loved it, maybe a year into going the previous director left & a new director (Cecilia aka CeCe) came in. Again in the beginning we loved her, she made sure all our concerns were addressed then things changed. My oldest daughter came home one day & told me she was touched in her private area by another child that was in her class. I immediately called the center & spoke to Cece and the only thing she had to tell me was “talk to her over the weekend & we can revisit on Monday”. We did revisit the issue the following week but after that nothing was done. No suggestions were made on how we could keep the children away from each-other as this is a serious issue. I unenrolled her with no notice given as I refuse to send my child anywhere she is uncomfortable. On other occasion, I was told by my mom (KinderCare employee @ this center during this time) that she witnessed one of my youngest daughter’s teachers not only grabbed but pulled, dragged & slammed my child into a chair so forcefully that her head hit the wall behind the chair & bounced back up. She notified the directed, CeCe later that day & nothing was done nor brought to my attention. 4 days were given to notify me regarding the incident & still to this day CeCe hasn’t even called or spoke to me in person regarding everything, it’s now been almost a year since everything took place. Fortunately for me & my daughter someone we knew witnessed everything but not everyone that sends their children to daycare has that. At the end of the day, Cece isn’t there to protect your children, she’s there to protect her employees. On other note, there were some teachers we absolutely loved. Mrs. Arlene is an absolute gem. She taught my oldest so much while she was there & we can’t thank her enough. Also Ms.Alejandra, even though none of my kids were in her class she always made it a point to acknowledge them.

  My daughter does good here. I just hate how indecisive and inconsistent they are with the payment and time of drop off. It’s always something changing.

  My daughter has been going here since 07/2018. At first it was really hard to drop her off (separation anxiety) but the staff an directors were really nice an let me know i could drop by any time to check up on her (which i did sometimes a couple times a day as my job was literally around the corner)not that the staff wasnt doing their job but just for my own piece of mind. Ever since then ive become very close with my daughters teachers/staff. An i can bring a concern/question to the ditector-she is very knowledgeable an cares about the kids safety an well being. Their hours are also very convenient. Clean classroom and awesome learning based curricular activities. I give a four star because their is always room for improvement.thanks for everything kindercare keep up the great work!

  I have to begin this by simply saying “I couldn’t have had a better place to send my son!” I was at a crossroads as an extremely hands-on parent, because the childcare I had my son enrolled in was one I thought would be best for two reasons: 1. It was a center with people I knew personally, and 2. They had a really great curriculum outline and menu to accommodate my sons dietary restrictions as a vegetarian. Only to find out they were mistreating my son and not feeding him according to his diet. I became livid. My friend recommended Kindercare Black Canyon and knowing how she is about her son. I called the morning I decided I could not send my son back to this other place. Karla (director) welcomes my son with open arms, and reassured me with her actions that this was the best place for him. He ha seven intellectually engaged more so than before and shows improvements developmentally at a rate that is above average for sure. I am a great mom but I can’t take all the credit. They are exceptional. The Asst Director, Courtney is amazing as well, she is truly excited about child development and makes it her duty every day to be present and excited about caring for our children! I wouldn’t have it any other way!

  I absolutely love this center. My baby has been going here since she was 6 weeks old. There is a warmth when you walk in that is amazing.
