I normally don’t leave reviews, but I really wanted to shout out Ms. Jenni. From the start she’s been super genuine, just truly caring with the kids and really easy to talk to as a parent. She actually listens when you have questions or concerns, and you can tell she pays attention to the little things. As a mom, that means everything when you’re trusting people with your babies. Since she came in, the whole vibe feels more positive and supportive. I also want to mention Ms. Violet, she’s very attentive and you can see how much she truly cares for the kids. It’s reassuring knowing there are people there who are patient, loving, and really present with the children every day. I’m really grateful for both of them and the care they give.

Ocotillo is extremely unstable due to lack of leadership and high staff turnover. Enrollment is very low, and the director, Josie, splits her time between Ocotillo and Estrella, leaving both centers without proper oversight. Staff morale is very low, and children are not getting the care and attention they deserve. I cannot recommend this center for anyone’s child.

would NOT recommend this particular Kindercare to anyone. It seems like the director and assistant director cares more about friendships with certain employees than they do your child. Teachers are on cell phones all the time, My son is now 5 and has not learned much there. They run the preschool area like a daycare, kids have no structure. He reported that a teacher (Susan) hit him, and ever since then that teacher Susan has tried to make my child out to be this horrible child. She retaliated against hime in made the kids and staff do the same. She tried to manipulate the situation by amplifying all of my son's mistakes and speaking it infant of the kids. In his own little way he begged me not to go in her class room in the end. I did not want to remove my child due to a change in environment but after multiple attempts to try to resolve the situation the assistant director Krystal looked at me and said "What more do you want". When she said that it let me know my child is in the wrong place and THEY DO NOT CARE. They have accused my son as being aggressive and disruptive, he has been in a new school for 2 weeks now with no reports of this. I asked them can I sit in on a class to see this behavior, it was denied! I asked them are there certain things that trigger the behavior they are reporting they denied it at first until my son told me stories where a child punched him in the stomach and he cried, and the teacher did nothing but make my son go sit away from everyone. No teacher ever reported this to me. another child did when I walked in the classroom. My son told me kids took his toys and hid them in their shirt, so he tried to get the toys, instead of the teacher helping she took the toys from my child and he felt punished. There are so many unfair stories, now that I look back I should have removed my son sooner. I chose Kindercare bc my daughter attended one in Paoli PA and it was wonderful! However this particular location is NOT a Kindercare, they do what they want in there. I would highly recommend the owner look more into this situation. It seems like a group of friends watching kids, not teachers and directors. It saddens me that Susan was able to get Rachelle and Krystal to treat my son like an outsider because he reported her horrible behavior of hitting him. Rachelle the director even called me the day it happened and said my son yelled out "Ouch your hurting me" I reported it to the regional director and he to seemed like he didn't want a problem, and instead of assuring me told me to look into other schools. He said he would investigate and never called me back, I had to call him back and one of his comments was "Our teachers hardly make any money" as if that is suppose to make up for my son being treated unfairly. After all was reported They outcasted my son daily, pulling him from actives, sitting him in the office while other kids went to play. who knows what else went on, this is just times I walked in on. Since leaving Ocotillo Kindercare My son is now thriving, feels happy, has not "hit" anyone, and has learned so much in this new school in just two weeks. I wish I made the change sooner. Parents go with your gut! I do not want this to happen to other child.

Horrible first week of taking my son here. 1st day he came home with pants and underwear on backwards. How long was he like this? 2nd day he had a big hole in his shirt. 3rd day nothing crazy happened...the 4th day when I show up I could not find my child and I was scanning the room as the director sat at a kid table and ate her Chinese with another employee. Some child kept say "your mom is here, your mom is here" to my son who had been laying on the ground. How long was he upset, laying on the ground. Lack of attention from the staff. Too many kids in one room.No daily report or updates about your child's day. Trying tutortime next.....
