Whitesburg P8 is a school that serves Pre-K through 8th grade. We have approximately 1000 students. It is a part of Huntsville City Schools and has a very diverse population. Our most prominent programs are the Greenpower Race cars 5th through 8th grade, Middle School Band, and Choir. Our athletic programs include football, basketball, and volleyball. We have cheer leading, NJHS, Optimist Club, Math Team, Academic Team, Student Government and many other wonderful programs. Our 8th grade takes an annual trip to Washington, DC. Our 5th grade takes an annual trip to Dauphin Island. There are many other field trips taken by our elementary and middle school classes each year.
