  Had a small project that needed an Engineer Stamp, Uinta Engineering said they could do the project and told my Contractor they would have the drawings done on the week of May 10th. It is now June 2nd and they have failed to complete the drawings on any of the 5 DIFFERENT times they said they would be completed on even after all the pre-drawings and calculations were already completed by my Contractor. UESI's website states "Our mission is to provide professional services in a precise and timely manner." They have been anything but timely, I myself have been a Structural Steel Detailer for 6 years and know that this project should have only taken 1-2 days of labor max.

  We called for our land to be surveyed. We asked Uinta Engineering to find the property corners and stake points on the line. We also asked to be present when the survey was completed. When we asked for the price we were told it would depend on what was involved to find the corners. We arrived at our property and saw that only one side had been surveyed. Only half of the job was completed and we were not present. Called Uinta Engineering to return to finish the job and was told the surveyors needed to calculate where the corner is. When they returned, just by chance we saw them surveying the back property line and asked them to put stake points on the back property line as originally requested. Since the property corner was in the road, we asked for a witness corner to be placed on our property. In dealing with Uinta Engineering they were curt and rude especially when I said they only did half the job. Got the bill and we were charged for two service calls. Called and asked why we were charged twice when only half the job was completed on the first visit and the had to be called back. When I called the person who answered the phone was the surveyor and he said he "marked the back line the first time they were out, but I just could not find the marks." The two stories we received are different as to why the job was not completed on the first visit - the corner had to be calculated and the other was the corner was marked but we could not find it. What good is a survey if you can't find the corner they marked? On the first visit they did not mark along the back property line as requested. Because I called and they had to return, we got charged twice for the same job. Uinta Engeneering is not customer oriented and we cannot recommend Uinta Engineering & Surveying.
