Will came out and got the furnace running within 5 minutes of being there and gave pointers on keeping it clean. Very fair pricing and friendly service!
- TMTim MillerNov 7, 20255.0I would like to thank Gold Standard for their services. We have two HVAC units in our home. One of them was having an issue. I have previously used Groggs and had tried to call A1 and D&R for this problem. Groggs were over priced and only wanted to sell me parts and a new u it instead of finding my problem last time. This time I called A1,and D&R for price and schedule. I was told a week out and a service call was between $150-$250. A coworker told me that they had heard about Gold Standard so I called them yesterday afternoon. They said they could have a Tech out my house this morning. He came out. Listened to what I had to tell him and then went to work. He used his tools to diagnose the problem. We had a restriction that wouldn't allow the furnace to complete the cycle. He tested the furnace, checked the flue on the roof, and then went in the attic. He food that the flue pipe had was sagging and had filled with water and wasn't draining correctly and causing the restriction. He fixed the issue and the furnace started working correctly. He also checked our other unit while he was there. He took the time to find the problem and knew what to look for. Total bill $110. Thank you for being professional and not just throwing parts at it. I appreciate your rates being fair and affordable.
