  Alan was amazing! He was so professional and informative. We have a new house and I had a ton of questions about everything installed two years ago. I got all my answers and everything I needed to have done was done within a quick time frame which helps me since we travel often. So glad I call for their services and will using using them for everything in the future.

  We had a new hvac system installed today. All in all it was a very easy and fast process. Technician Colton came out and gave us a free estimate and set us up with a zero interest financing plan. All the parts were ordered the next morning and we had a date scheduled that was flexible for us for installation. Today technicians Bobby and Steve came out, and began the installation. The installing process was around seven hours. They were very professional and clean. Top tier work, I will be using Appalachian for my yearly service.

  A couple weeks ago Jody came to the house (he was great) and discovered that our 24 year old unit needed to be replaced. We gathered a few different quotes and price was comparable but the level of professionalism we received from the office staff and service manager when it came to questions about time line and payments was top notch and sealed the decision for us. Drew and Shandon did the install of the new unit . These guys were efficient, friendly, and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and answered any questions about the new unit that we had.

  I was kept well informed of the upcoming service visit by the technician. He called me en route to confirm I was home. He was a very courteous and professional. He explained to me what he was doing at each step. He entered my questions that I had about the furnace and the AC unit and opened the AC unit to inspect it for cleaning after I mentioned that. Fortunately it did not need cleaned. We have used our Appalachian Heating Office for years and have been well pleased with their service. This continues and we will call them again if needed.

  Just purchased our home here in beckley at the end of January and at the end of February we got our first electric bill. The bill almost gave me a heart attack, so I looked at ways to make the house more energy efficient, and that included replacing the baseboard heaters that have been installed since the 70s. We understood that the cost of putting in a central heat pump was going to be on the high side, but worth it. Bic came out, looked at our house, and gave me 3 quotes. We decided that the standard option would be the best fit for our family. The total for everything that comes with installing a central 2 ton heat pump system in a house that has never had one before came out to about $15,000. On March 9th, we had called for estimates. As of March 20th, our system is up and running. Bobby and Steve came out, and it was a 3 day job. Day 1 they ran ductwork and got the unit in the attic, day 2 they did the electrical and installed the vents and got the system outside setup, and day three they they finished everything else and got the system running. Within minutes of it being turned on, the house got to a comfortable temperature. Their customer service went above and beyond. Part of installing something that takes time, is they had to be in and out of the house. We have 2 kids and sometimes they can be little obstacles, especially since they're curious and talkative. Bobby and Steve did not seem to mind them at all, and even engaged with them and told them a little bit about what they were doing. They were able to answer any additional questions I had they had not asked Bic during our meeting. They took good care not to make anything in the house too messy while they did their work, which is a big plus. The installation itself is beautiful. They were able to run everything through the attic, so that our vents were in the ceiling rather than the floors which was a big personal preference of mine. Everything installed was put in ideal areas, and I couldn't be happier with our purchase. The company's warranty is superior and I have peace of mind knowing that if any additional work needs done, I can call them up. While the system was costly, I'm happy with the installation and the customer service. You definitely get what you pay for! We did plan on financing, but changed our minds. They finance through wellsfargo according to their website and when I applied, they quoted me for a 29% apr. That's means if we did a 5 year payment plan, we'd pay double what we still owed after paying the 1/3 down. That was way too high for us, considering we have outstanding credit. I'm not sure exactly if that's what the financing would've looked like of we went through with it, but we didn't want to chance it and would rather pay the system outright.
