- AAAlexAug 24, 20251.0Back in the early 2010's I found out the hard way I had to watch the workers weigh everything because they would frequently subtract weight from what the scale reported. Their excuse was they were subtracting the weight of whatever 5 gal bucket or plastic bag the metal was in. That logic is fine but they would always give me full weight reported when I told them to weigh the bucket and bags if they wanted to subtract weight. I stopped going there for a decade and decided to try it again. Once again, I found them doing the same thing. The excuse this time was "I hit the wrong button." Watch the scales, check your receipts.

- DDDouglas DueckJun 3, 20242.0The people were plenty friendly but they are severely under paying. With my company I have about 1000 pounds of ferrous sheet iron a week in water heaters. Everyone else in the area is currently paying 9.5 cents a pound but here they only give 4 cents per pound. I was really hoping to make this place my go to being that I live in the area but I'll make the drive elsewhere so I don't get ripped off. Doesn't sound like much in pennies but that is undercutting me about $60 per week. Thanks but no thanks.
