  The salesman Dave was able to show me many options based on the quality and price points I was looking for. He was able to come out and measure the next day and was very professional. Vincent and his crew were friendly and did a good job on the install and cleaned the job up afterwards. Im satisfied with the whole experience.

  We had carpet installed in our basement and, overall, that first experience was fine. There were a few minor sloppy spots, but nothing major enough to complain about. Because the price was good and scheduling was easy, we decided to book them again for another room. Unfortunately, the second experience has been completely different. The installation is very sloppy and, worse, it’s still not finished. The installer told us a trim piece had been ordered incorrectly and that the store would call us that same day to reschedule. No one called and we had to follow up ourselves. From there, it only got more frustrating. We were told days later that the part was in and installation would happen the following Monday. Monday came and went with no call or show. After reaching out again, we were told the part had to be reordered because the color was wrong. Over the next week, we made multiple calls and were repeatedly told “we’ll call you back today,” which never happened. We were finally given a new install date for first thing in the morning. I took time off work to be home, only to receive a text saying there was a scheduling issue and to go about my day. We still have no clear timeline for when this project will be completed, and we’ve been unable to get a manager to return our calls. At this point, the poor communication, lack of follow through, and sloppy workmanship have been extremely disappointing. I would not use this company again and would recommend others look elsewhere

  I had an excellent experience working with Ryan G. from Carpetland West Allis. I had two projects in the works at the same time—carpeting in my basement and new vinyl for my kitchen. Ryan was extremely responsive, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. We established early on that my basement was the right size for a carpet remnant. Ryan sent me photos of different carpet remnants throughout my “hunt” for the right one. The remnant he ended up finding for me is perfect for my space (and was very affordable). For the kitchen, Ryan worked with me to find the perfect material for my space. He got everything ordered quickly and efficiently. His attention to detail and diligence throughout made the installation a breeze, only taking a few hours to complete. The team was great and went above and beyond. Both installations went smoothly, and I’m extremely happy with the results. If you’re going to Carpetland in West Allis, ask for Ryan!

  Sales person presented carpet that we ended up choosing. Verified he had enough in stock. Gives us quote and we confirmed. 2 days later he finally responds by email and says it’s now out of stock and now wants $1.00 more per square foot for the same product. Refuses to honor confirmed price. Shady business practices. New edit… Since I can’t reply to the response.. Manager calls 9 days later after first seeing a 1 star review… says he can now match the price.. took our business elsewhere after day 4. Reluctant to go back.. can just imagine needing to use the lifetime warranty on the carpet and how that would be handled.

  My salesperson was Ryan very nice person but there was no communication after the carpeting was sold. I called a week and a half later which would have been 4 days before my carpet was supposed to be installed, I asked if the carpet was in, Ryan did not get back to me I had to talk to somebody else and they said the carpeting was not in so I had to change my insulation date to a week later. That next week I called to make sure it was in again, 4 days before that appointment because nobody called to let me know. I needed to move my furniture and tare out the carpeting myself so I needed to know if that carpeting was going to be installed on the later date. I did get a hold of someone not my salesperson and they said yes it will be installed on the 16th. Very bad communication with my sales person. On the other hand the installer came in a snowstorm installed the carpeting one man operation, he did a wonderful job the carpeting is beautiful and I'm sorry I don't remember his name but the installer did a awesome job!
