  Needed help with deck. JCI Construction was recommended by Home Depot for installation work. Wanted to switch from wood to Trex decking and Aluminum railing. Mike and his team did an outstanding job. There paying attention to detail and workmanship was great. Mike is very knowledgeable in material requirements. The decking took around 4-5 hours to do. The railings were late in coming in so the JCI Team came back a week later and completed railing installation. At first I thought pricing was high but after seeing the work need to install, the money spent was well worth. A very satisfied customer.! Thank you Mike and your team, it is appreciated!

  Their drivers are dangerous on the road, came flying up on my car, almost hitting me, then tried to intimidate me by riding my ass to go faster, when I wouldnt, he whipped left in front of another vehicle, flew through a kwik trip parking lot and pulled out on the side street again in front of another vehicle forcing them to slam on their brakes. What is your problem!

  Started out great, a kind and seemingly genuine business owner. Got him out to the property to assess several things that are needing to be done at my rental property. Was told I'd have a quote in a day or two. After a week I had to contact asking for the quote, got just a text (not an actual quote) a few days later, with what he thought it would possibly cost. Had to re verify all the work that would be done, in short I agreed to the estimated price and asked when they would start, was told "umm, possibly end of the week". I asked to be kept posted since I have a tenant and needed to give notice. The end of week came and went no updates. I contacted again, i asked if it was at all possible to lock in a date, was told they will hopefully finish another job "tomorrow" leading me to assume I'm next, it's been another 3 days since then no update nor date set, and I see from reviews that others also have dealt with timing issues, workmanship quality issues as well. Being that I explained to him several times how my tenant works nights and needs to make arrangements to sleep during the day and would need to know when they would be coming ahead of time he knows I need an actual date and time and can't just show up. Also when I met him I explained my frustration with a previous contractor that did a similar thing of committing to a day or week then just not showing up and rescheduling to then ghost that appointment too. Michael assured me when he came to my door advertising himself this wouldn't be the same. Yet, still no updates or commitment from jbi. Truly I was looking forward to them doing the work, they sounded great and knowledgeable, but I can't deal with more ghosting and lack of communication. PS to the Response: I was notified that you have replied to the review hours after I already texted you directly invited you to have a genuine opportunity to fix the communication/scheduling issues and make a plan to continue with the work. I even offered to help you build a positive image of your company if you were being genuine. Sadly, this public posting of a generic apology instead of choosing to communicate directly with me says all it needs to say and doesn't give me nor other consumers the confidence needed that you truly take these issues serious nor wish to fix them. I encourage anyone that reads this to do their due diligence and seek the other reviews by others going back years that have now shown me the same issues I already experienced, as well qualities work issues or just not finishing jobs.

  It took him forever to start and has not finished its been over 2 years and he won't call us back and he still has some of our money because job wasn't completed

  We had this company build a garage for us. The down payment was made the 1st of May, it was supposed to be done by mid July it was not completed until November 18th and it was not due to supply delays. He would goes weeks without showing up or contacting us. We never received project updates unless we asked. It was not until we contacted an attorney that the job was finished. A used interior door was put on our new construction, we had to go behind the crew and make corrections to the work, the springs on the garage doors were put on backwards among many other things. I delayed starting a business waiting for this construction to be done and we lost money every single week we waited for it be completed. Even the subcontractors lost patience with his lack of communication.
