I spoke with Kaci who has been amazing through the whole process and shows how much she actually cares for the company and the people she is working with. Every employee who helped me load the mud mixer was amazing as well. I can't say enough good things about Kaci and her team! Could not put a ladder or walk on it as it was the super old brittle slate shingles. I called sunbelt so they could send out a rep, to insure we got the right lift. They a recommend a 60ft boom lift. They sent it out, went to do the project and the lift was about 20ft short of the house. (That day was an entire loss) I called them up, and they said they would send out an 80ft the next day, which they did. However this one was super old and beat to crap. So badly that if I boomed up, before it went up, it would drop down 6-12". How could I use that if im trying to do precision work?? Called them up told them to forget it, I'll go else where. Loss that day of work and the rest of the week now because of it. After hunting around I couldn't locate a different lift so I tried sunbelt wauwatosa. They sent out the rep Ryan, who was super insulting, told me I wasn't telling the truth about losing 4 days of work and it was me, not the machine, which was not true. So after being called a lier and belittled, I called Ideal Crane. They came out and recommend a 600x and could not belive that sunbelt recommend a boom lift for this project. Jumped on Ideals lift, and its a dream compared to sun belts junk. Thing is amazing, no issues what so ever. I would suggest going to Ideal Crane anytime your looking to rent a lift. Unless you want to lose days of work, be called a liar, and belittled.

What do I need to rent a tool?
All you need is your driver’s license or a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card to pay for the rental upfront. No extra deposit is required.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. Call 800-667-9328 if you have any questions.
What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
What do I need to rent a tool at Sunbelt Rentals?
