  If you want to babysit somebody through the entire process, never have anything done on time and than bashed and attacked by Dough the first chance you voice your concerns about something than he is your man. I paid for their most expensive cabinets, thinking I will get quality. At the end I got scratched, very uneven cabinets that Doug himself didn't properly measure. These were not high end cabinets. Don't waste your time or money.I also did not receive all the supplies and my contractors had to do various alterations to the cabinets to make them fit. When I voiced my concerns to Doug, he got offended. Instead he bashed me to the delivery man, and my close friends who referred me to him. Very unprofessional. I asked Doug to come to my house so he can see for himself all my concerns but he refused to come because he knew he was wrong. He will keep promising you that the initial drawing of the kitchen will be done within a week but instead it took 2-3 weeks. You have to call and constantly be on top of things. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional person.

  We had a great experience working with Marling to redo our kitchen. We primarily worked with Doug and he did a wonderful job with design, he responded quickly to any emails, and he gave us great advice throughout the whole kitchen remodel process. I recommend Marling and I would definitely use them again.

  I would highly recommend ordering cabinets from a different company. It took over 12 weeks to get complete cabinets without damage or defects delivered when it was suppose to be 4 weeks. Even with damaged cabinets being delivered, Marling Homeworks would not expedite. I had to call every time to set up delivery and each time "oh I was going to call you the cabinets just got into the warehouse". When I asked for a discount on the cabinets or something due to the numerous set backs and time wasted dealing with the problems and inconveniences, I was told people need to learn to deal with inconveniences and cabinets with minor dings and scratches should be overlooked. Don't waste your time with this company.
