    This is a continued post from an ongoing issue specifically with the Manager Robert C. Due to Pat's dropping the ball and missing the original appointment date, Robert reached out after my negative review asking if he could rectify the situation. Robert in his own words stated that he would "Take this job on the chin". With that we rescheduled the appointment. One new issue was that Michael, amazing technician that I want to recognize, misquoted us and left off one zone/ sensor. No big deal at the time but the job would require both being done. So Michael finishes up and asks for payment as he was not aware of the situation. My dad, who was at home while I was at work, notified Michael of the conversation (which is recorded per Robert) that the job was not to be billed. At this point this was our understanding per the original conversation which I will get back to shortly. Michael seemed confused, went out to his van, sat for a bit and left. Today (4-7-2026) my wife gets an email from Pat's for the full value and then some (the quote was fluffed up, we don't understand how it went from $1000-$1800 for one wireless sensor but that is besides the point). She is freaking out based on what Robert promised my father. I ask my father to call Pat's as the initial conversation occurred between the two. Essentially in this conversation (4-7-2026) Robert told my dad that a small discount was in order and that it was our fault for not clarifying what should have been given. At this point my father asked me to call as Robert, as Robert is lying to him and not honoring what he promised. I have a different word for it, EXTORTION which I will explain why. I call Robert within ten minutes of my father doing so. After the "pleasantries" I ask Robert why my wife got a bill for $1800. The first words out of his mouth were "Well we never heard from you after the 1 star review so we just billed you the full amount". Essentially the whole conversation was Robert trying to talk his way out of the lie he crafted. My hope is that this man is in no way shape or form an owner of Pats because his moral fiber is quite lacking. What I was told is that if my initial review comes down then I would get a discount, which again is EXTORTION. I will make it clear, I never asked for a discount, Robert offered to "Take it on the Chin" due to his team screw ups. Now since I didn't take my review down, which is factual, and can be verified by the phone logs that Robert claims are kept I have to pay above the modified quote? Robert good sir, I hope you and your superiors are reading this as I 100% plan to go to the BBB. I do not care if anything is substantiated or comes from it but the fact that I am being EXTORTED by you specifically is requiring me to do so. I will not stop till the right people are involved and this matter is looked into. Please don't go erasing your recorded phone calls now, you are getting fair warning I am reaching out to the BBB. If I have to pay the Modified Inflated Quote so be it, as long as I can make sure to post my interaction with you specifically Robert. You have made this situation 100x more difficult and unpleasant then it needed to be due to your lies. Only person I will take a call from is the owner at this point Robert, I don't deal with lying snakes in the grass. The whole shame here is I actually do like the work Pat's does, great technicians. Now I need to go to another company after my family has been established with Pat's for the last 20 years due to a lying conniving manager or possibly incompetent one. I mean no disrespect to you Robert but your management style will not maintain loyal customers, and you EXTORTING people will most likely lead to a lawsuit possibly with me even.     Excellent service from electrician Jason Gru diagnosing and repairing my electrically heated hotbed. Good personality, excellent communication skills, and a fine worker who is experienced and knowledgeable. Highly recommend him.

    3-19-2026. I had a 8:00am appointment schedule to update some heating zones at my house. I waited around till noon, no calls, no emails, no communication from Pat’s. At this point I have to move on with my day so I'm getting in my car ready to run errands when all of a sudden two Pats vans pull in my driveway. I roll down my window and ask how I can help them. The technician, a young arrogant prick, tells me I have an appointment scheduled. I tell him no, it was at 8:00 this morning. The technician stated there was a miscommunication and the appointment was not at 8:00am. I told him there was zero miscommunication and that he was wrong. He then tried claiming he got tied up at the previous job. Hard to believe there were many jobs scheduled prior to 8:00. At this point I informed him I would not be locking my dogs up again and was leaving to start my delayed errands. This is a pattern of Pat’s demonstrating a lack of professionalism. The first time was when my pipes burst this winter due to the pressure being turned up incorrectly by the technician. Thankfully the second technician told us what caused the problem and Pats ended up eating the labor to fix what they broke. Minus all my drywall of course but it is what it is. Honestly the only reason I have stuck with Pat’s is because of that tech and his integrity of doing right by the customer. I’d love to hear from the owner on why this workmanship is acceptable. Years of being a loyal customer to be used and abused and stepped on.
