Our furnace was only a year old (installed expertly by Pat’s Heating - of course!) so there would be little expected maintenance. However, Lucas thoroughly inspected the unit, changed the filter to a new one we had on hand, and took the time to show me a little switch on the AprilAire that was still in “summer” mode and switched it to winter. He also took the time to explain how this small thing would make the heating and cooling work better in both seasons.Thank you Lucas! - CMChris McGillivrayJan 31, 20265.0Our boiler went out when the air temp was -15 and we called for emergency service. Luckily we were the first to call that night as the technician on call (Jacob) got bombarded with calls on the way to us. Upon arrival, he diagnosed and troubleshooted the issue and was having troubles getting it to work. He was on the phone with additional people working to resolve the problem and spent 4 hours on it until he got it going. Unfortunately there were other issues to fix but those would need to be done on another day but we had heat for the night. A few days later another technician (Mike) came out as he was more of the boiler expert. He was unbelievably skilled. He fixed the igniter vs selling us on another, and identified other issues that was causing additional problems that would likely never get caught by any other company. There was a fitting that wasn't working properly but they were nowhere to be found by distributors so he used his engineering skills to basically make his own. We're very appreciative of their entire staff.
