Mike was extremely helpful! We had a furnace issue and he showed up quickly, handled everything professionally, and immediately figured out what was going on. Mike walked us through the problem in a way that was easy to understand and made sure we had a clear plan for replacing our system and getting heat restored. He’s friendly, honest, and really knows his stuff

We could not be more pleased with this company! From the first call with receptionist/adviser to Travis coming to evaluate our heat distribution concerns and offering great solutions, to Nathan who came later that day to clean our ducts… and dryer vents… EVERYTHING was 5 star level!!! We look forward to them solving our other concerns in the near future. Would highly recommend to friends and family!

Our 1 year old furnace decided to stop working for us. After having 2 different hvac companies come and tell us the couldn't find the issue or couldn't do the work, we were referred to Matt and his team at Midwest Heating and Cooling. Service was well priced after having to make 2 trips to ensure our problem was corrected. They were able to discover a bird that was stuck far down in our exhaust pipe. Throughout the process Matt made us feel secure that our problem would be resolved. We definitely will be using Matt and his team for all our heating and cooling concerns moving forward.

From my initial call with Darla, meeting with Travis and installation, I was impressed. Darla was very customer focused and a pleasure to speak with. Travis was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his job and the product. Garret and Gavin installed my HVAC. They were very knowledgeable, polite, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. They were very pleasant and explained what they were doing and answered all my questions. I was very happy with their work. My overall experience with the company was fantastic, made me feel at ease and confident I was making the right decision.

We had our very old central AC unit replaced by them a year and a half ago. We went with them because they are a large company with seemingly good reviews. However we should've paid closer attention to the bad ones, because we gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time with the AC, but now we're feeling the wrath of the second chance we gave them. The AC and vent cleaning was loaded with issues from day one. We had to have someone come out 3 TIMES after installation because it wasn't cooling. The first time they said there wasnt enough coolant put in because we had it installed in March. Next time there was "a leak in the line". And finally the 3rd time it was determined that the line was full of leaks and the compressor was bad and the technician told us that the previous technicians did not know what they were doing. 5 months later, it was fixed. Poorly patched holes in the air ducts with air coming out of the tops because the holes were cut too big. Two attempts at cleaning the vents because after visually inspecting the vents after the first cleaning, they looked as dirty as if no one did anything. The same kid installed our new thermostat (which was forgotten about in the first place) incorrectly and had to take yet another day off work to get that working. They kept sending one young guy that obviously didn't know enough to do anything on his own. I should've ended our business with them there when it took 7 days off of work for a 2 day job. However, we recently called them out for a faulty igniter in our 4 year old furnace. Over $700 for a $25-$30 part and when I questioned it, I just got the run around from the manager. He offered to send me an updated invoice explaining in more detail why I was charged what I was charged. I was not informed up front of the total price and I was shocked when he told me $700. He showed me a price of $386 initially which I thought was the total with labor. That was just the part!?! They push you to sign up for their membership, which is overpriced basic maintenance. Their work is not guaranteed unless you are part of the membership. They ask you right away when you call if you're a member. Their service calls are $150 and they nickel and dime you for every minute, when most of that time spent is them taking 1000 pictures of every move they make. I've had other companies come out at odd hours on emergency calls for the same thing, and came nowhere near that price. Most of their staff is friendly, but that's not worth the money and time we've given to them for all the problems, miscommunication, and overpriced work.
