I only had one outage for 4 hours over the past 12 months. I'm ok with having stable power, it is nice to have the peace of mind knowing that if the power goes out, the generator automatically starts. Today was the one year service, the app on my phone indicated a maintenance alert to inspect the battery. I emailed Adams about it, they were tracking my annual service, so they had a technician scheduled to arrive today and look over the generator. Responsive, courteous and knowledgeable is what makes Adams an excellent company for me to continue my relationship with for the future years. I'm glad I invested in a generator, it's a little pricy to get installed, but when it's 10 below and you are sitting in the cold, the cost doesn't look so bad at that point.
