  We've used them about 10 years ago for the "dustless" feature and they were ok, so we hired them again. The dust control was better than the other floor company we've used in the past. Horrible communication with Tony, the owner, who was always unavailable to speak over price discrepancy. Quoted us one price, began work, I had to pull workers off job to straighten miscommunication out. They completely botched the estimate for the stairs. Tried to discuss directly with owner, who would never take a call. We were at their mercy at this point and had to pay their updated price. Also, I notice some swirling from the sanders in the wood, small bubbles from the cured finish, shabby manual work around the railing spindles, and they scratched the vertical side trim of our 100 year old stair case, which up to that point was flawless. They basically said, "it happens" and put some stain on it to cover the scratches. Never again with Maxcare or Tony. If you want a nice house, and to keep it that way, talk to someone else.

  We chose MaxCare on a recommendation from a friend who had used them. They sanded, stained and sealed our 2 bedrooms, living room and hallway. The quote process was great. She came in to measure the rooms and talk about their process; I was provided with a written quote on the spot. We booked their service about six months later and was very happy with the professionalism of the workers and the quality of the work. The price was reasonable and we are very happy they were able to finish sooner than quoted.

  Maxcare was easy to schedule with, got our work done quickly and their workers were all timely and professional. Our floors (in our 90 year old house) look new. We are beyond thrilled!

  I highly recommend MaxCare! We just had our floors restored over the weekend and their staff is exceptional. They take the time to explain things and really know what they're doing. I had my doubts about the whole 100% dust free but they delivered. We had no dust, the products they use are low odor (we had good weather and ventilation throughout the house) and our floors are simply beautiful. I praise Juan (the guy who did the staining) for all of the hard work he put in on a Saturday and even helping us with picking the color and a shout out to Doug (the "finisher") for having such an amazing attitude first thing in the morning and explaining his process in a professional manner. Really, I'm so impressed with the workers, can't thank you guys enough!! They need to be commended for their hard work and dedication.

  I am giving them a rating of 2 stars because I like others have had a bad experience with Maxcare. I also got clouding on some parts of the floors they did for me, but I didn't bother to complain simply because they had done them pretty cheap with cash payment and I knew they did not have the skills to correct it. I used them twice already and went to use them again thinking their work was OK, but suddenly their prices are non negotiable and way higher than ever before! After having used them twice already?? These people sure don't know how to satisfy their customers. I think they are just in it for the money, bit wham bam thank-you mam style. If you know what I mean! Not happy with them, and I was recommended to call their office to discuss the quote they gave me. With who? Their receptionist? The owner themselves couldn't give me a better price for cash after having used them twice already with no complaints? really. Won't bother with them again. Thats all! They are so up themselves, there must be others out there doing floors too.....!!
