  JD Griffiths built a two and 1/2 car garage for us over two decades ago, and we’re very pleased with its longevity. We recently purchased another property with an older, 80’s style garage, and wooden garage door. When one of the overhead springs cracked, I knew JD Griffiths would be more than able to repair it for a reasonable rate. After getting an astronomical quote from one of the local “Emergency Garage Repair” services on a weekend, I called JD Griffiths during the work week, they came out quickly, replaced the broken springs, lubricated everything completely, and charged a reasonable $300 for the full repair. I’d highly recommend them to anyone in SE WI needing new springs or a brand new garage too. They’re a SOLID company.

  Excellent communication and service! My garage spring broke and someone was out the next day to get it fixed. Everything works perfectly and I highly recommend J.D. Griffith for your garage needs!

  PLEASE READ LAST UPDATE! Great company and I will do business with them again. 11/24/25 -- I guess I'm a little disappointed with the service I received . I have dealt with the company in the past and I had no complaints in regards to the prior service. However, today I felt like as a repeat customer my business didn't matter. I was given a time frame from 7am or 8am until 12pm. I waited the entire time without complaining. I had several things I needed to take care of and I had no idea when the service would be performed. I called spoke to Steve who informed me the service would be performed at 1:30pm and I could run my errands. I returned home at 1:30pm no service. I called and was told he service man came out at 1:05pm and because I wasn't home he left. Steve , instead of calling me himself, had a lady call me back who didn't seem to care if I stayed as customer or not. I at that time canceled my garage service. Is this how you want a repeat customer to feel? This experience has soured my impression of what I thought was a good company. 11/25/15 **** UPDATE **** I not only received a call from Steve but I also received an email expressing how he'd like to keep me as a satisfied customer. Just the call alone has made me change this from a 1 star to 3 stars. I have a new appointment scheduled and Steve has assured me it will be professional and punctual. I have no doubt in his word at this point. I will update again once the job has been completed 12/02/15 **** UPDATE**** ( The delay in the service date is because I chose today as my service date not JD Griffin) JD Griffin has proven to be the professional company I thought they were. I received my garage service today and they treated me as a valued repeat customer. I will continue to do business with them and I would definitely refer my friends and family to them. I am changing my 3 stars to 5 stars!!!
