- HHHeidi HahlenApr 2, 20265.0We are extremely pleased with the service provided by the Drain Brothers, Dakota and Skylar. They were prompt, courteous, answered all of questions, honest and reasonably priced. They had the necessary equipment (extra length and multiple sized root cutting blades) for our problem for a carpet of tree roots in the old clay sewer pipe. Their camera system and phone allowed us to watch the cleaning process and we learned that our sewer pipe extended about 87 feet before it dropped about 5 vertically then connected horizontally to the city's main PVC pipe. We had considered having them use their chain cleaning head to fully remove roots within the inner circumference of the pipe but they were concerned about risk of possibly breaking the old clay pipe. Luckily, the camera was able to identify a crack in the base of the clay pipe just after the vertical drop. After 2 hours, the line was clear. This will give us time to decide how to manage the cracked clay pipe, either with having it lined or getting an estimate for replacement with PVC pipe. Thank you Dakota & Skylar.

Despite the problem we had to face it was a relief to have a respectful, courteous, and professional gentleman come to not only clear our lines but took the time to show and explain what he was doing and why.
