- MDMark DallnerNov 25, 20231.0I had Stanek windows install in two previous residences and was very pleased with the install and the few minor service requests afterwards. One of the window lock stops broke and then sent a new one. Now to the current install. Had the installation done in February Or March of this year. Install crew was from Chicago area. Worked very hard to get the job done. Now as the Winter of 2023/24 begins, I have condensation in all the windows. I have called and emailed them to get help with a resolution and no answer to either inquiry. Maybe a registered letter return receipt would let me know that they received my request for a resolution
- KKKenneth J KalfasDec 16, 20191.0What a disappointment. We were so pleased with the quality of our first window and the excellent installation, that we ordered two more large windows. This contractor is owned by the Stanek Window Company which is headquartered in Macedonia Ohio. They manufacture the windows and rely on the local representative to arrange installation. The windows we ordered seem just as good as last time however, the installation is not good. At this time, the installation is not complete because the installers indicated that the company did not provide the correct trim. The installer told me that they would return to complete the installation the next day. They did not return. On the third day, I contacted Liz Avilla at the company indicated that the installers would complete the installation on the next day after I reached her on the phone. However, the installers did not arrive to complete the installation. During this time, the company made no effort to update me on when the project would be completed. I have left several messages without response. In my case, this company does not seem to be living up to the same standards as last year. Besides the unknown completion date, the partial installation of trim that has been installed does not match the trim on the windows we purchased last year. The trim is not even close to the trim that was installed last year. I do not recommend this company.
