    Found out these guys didn't use the legal description of my property (i.e. the legal description in the property deed on file with the county). We thought we were within the 30 foot setback necessary for an addition. Turns out Meridian was off by 3 feet! on our back property corners. Now were trying to get an after the fact variance from the city which is a nightmare. We literally might have to tear the last 3 feet of the addition off. Meridian's response was to deny that they did anything wrong. I can't NOT recommend them enough.

    Price was fair and they came out quickly. We later found out they had used the county assesor's plat (not the legal description of our property) to create the survey. We ended up having to dig up 60 feet of privacy fence (installed summer of 2024) when neighbor complained to city that we were on his property. Total cost $5,000+

    We had Meridian surveying come out to establish property lines so my husband could construct a garage for our RV. Come to find out the Meridian surveyor didn't use the legal description of our property to locate the lot lines and the garage isn't properly set back from the lot line. We are now facing having to tear down the entire garage to have it moved 18 in so that it complies with city ordinances. We are looking into suing Meridian surveying and if I could give them one star I would.

    Called for an estimate and the instant I questioned the amount the gentleman I was talking to insulted me and hang up! I was extremely polite and was looking for clarification as to the cost due to the small property being surveyed. This was not a professional I talked to! Response to response I in no way berated anyone, in fact, I was looking for an explanation regarding the quote but I was hung up on before any further questions could be asked. I guess it always easier to blame the negative reviewer, instead accepting responsibility for poor behavior.
