Service was done by Justin G. Very pleasant, advised me what he was going to do for routine maintenance and that he would advise me if there was any additional issues he found. I pay a monthly fee for services, so unknown on exact price under $30, but this way comes with additional perks!

Lost oil pressure on my 22kw Generac due to a faulty oil sensor on the crankcase. I called Adams generator in Hazelhurst WI to order the part. I was told they don't sell parts so be ware if you maintain your equipment yourself. Save yourself the the frustration and go to Ziller electric online. Parts came out of Michigan in 3 days, shipping was free and their website was easy to use.

Last time a technician came out they didn't let me know they were here. I wasn't able to talk with them which led to me being frustrated with the whole situation. When I expressed this to the scheduling representative, she made sure the technician knew I wanted to talk with them regarding my generator. Aidan listened to my concerns and diagnosed the problems. He replaced the battery and ordered a new exercise switch. I am pleased with Aidan's professionalism and resolution of the issues.

I purchased a new 22 kW Generac generator from Hackbarth electric in 2016. It came with a five-year warranty, which I used twice had no charge to me. One of the items that was replaced at no cost to me was a natural gas regulator. I received an offer to purchase an extended five-year warranty last year for an additional $575 which I did. During that time Hackbarth Electric merged with Adams to do all the repair work on the Generac generators. I had another issue where my generator would not work and I was told it was because of a bad gas regulator, the same one that was replaced five years ago. I was charged $209 for the service call, and I will be charged in additional 300+ dollars to have the gas regulator replaced again. When I get called in question why that was not covered under warranty, I was told it’s because it’s not a Generac part. I told them that it was covered the Last time that it failed and he said that I have to pay for the labor and the part because it’s not a Generac part. I was happy with the work that Technician did when he changed out the regulator, but I am not happy with the Adam's as a whole since I am paying for a part that I did not have to pay for when it failed the first time.
