My generator went down late at night in the middle of a major snowstorm. I called for help at 2:15am expecting to get a voice recording. Instead I talked to a person who was polite and professional. I was on with a technician within 5 minutes and he was out to my home in 40 minutes, fixed my problem in horrible weather conditions in 20 minutes. Adams is the Definition of service.

This group was awesome to work with and I would highly recommend them. I dealt with the crew primarily out of Hazelhurst, but did have some discussions with the office people as well. They added a generator to my cabin.
Rob was my sales man and I spent over an hour on the phone with him discussing various generator options, sizes, brands, and installation location, etc.. We did this remotely. I was at home and he was at my cabin. He was very knowledgeable. He was prompt with quotes and or changes to the quote. Usually got a response within 24-48 hrs. The people in the office were great as well. I only got a few other quotes, but what I liked about Adams was that they offered everything and seem to specialize in generator install and service. The others I contacted were electicians in the area and though they might service this wasn't there specialty and they couldn't guarantee me when they may service after a malfunction.
The installation occurred on the date they projected 3 months in advance which is pretty impressive considering the things that can get in their way such as weather. The initial date they gave me was never rescheduled like some outfits do.
The guys who did the install (Cal and Dustin I believe) were prompt, professional, and worked diligently and hard to complete the job. They talked with me as they did the install and answered all my questions. They were very friendly. They each had their own tasks but when needed would help each other out. I was very impressed with how quickly they got the job done. I would periodically check on them to see if they had any questions and to view the progress. This install was not the simplest in the world. They had to work around a pontoon boat, fish wire through the attic which had limited access, and they had to dig up frozen soil to bury the propane line and it was cold outside. Not once did they complain. And they actually listened to my suggestions for the install and did it the way I had asked. You don't get that very often. For example, they informed me that the new box they installed was 4 inches deeper than the old box. For me this was not acceptable because the pontoon boat barely fits in the area. So instead of surface mounting the box they recessed the box between two studs which was perfect. They also found a better way of running the main wire between the generator and the box and asked me if I was Ok with it before they did it. I cannot tell you how pleased I was that adked before doing it. These 2 were just great to work with. They also cleaned up their mess before they left.
I do have 3 minor criticisms or complaints whichever way you want to look at it.
#1 The quote I received was very vague (and this is probably ok for most people).
#2 I got notification via email and text that Adams was coming for the install on the day of, roughly about an hour before their arrival. Nothing wrong with that, but I would have liked to have been informed the day before indicating all is a go and also a confirmation a week or so in advance of the install date (Kind of like the reminders we get about Dr. or Dentist appts.). In this case it was a remote site and I wanted to be there for the install. If I would have driven up there and found out the install date had changed, I would have been mad. So a simple confirmation would have been great.
#3 During and at the end of install I got a flurry of emails and text messages from Generac and Adams. They were for billing, welcoming, surveys, install the app, etc. It would be nice if you could combine some of these some how.
Again these are all minor annoyances. Otherwise job well done. Keep up the good work and you have a lot of good people working for you.

The salesperson was very nice. He was informative, acknowledged and polite. Unfortunately I will not be moving forward with my purchase as it is too expensive at this time. It’s more than I thought it would be after my conversation with him.
