- AAAshley Andersen1 day ago1.0A week before our installation was to occur, I had reached out for an update on our project. I was told at that point, that there was an error in quoting and that our kitchen island "was missed" in our initial quote, even thou we specifically talked about it with the girl at the store, the measurer and it was on the drawings. Our price nearly DOUBLED because the island was missed in their quoting process and they were not willing to work with us on pricing, nor was there any effort to keep our business. We were simply told "sorry, we are not willing to budge on the price." Not only is it frustrating that their amount of customer service was minimal, but our project timeline is now pushed out another 4-6 weeks by essentially having to start over on this portion of our project. Would not recommend.

Shortly after, I noticed a significant gap where the counter was separating from the wall. While the big-box store refused to honor the warranty, the team at Countertop Specialists stepped up immediately. They inspected the issue and fixed it under their own warranty. Their integrity and customer service are top-notch. For my next project, I’ll be skipping the middleman and going directly to them!

Do you guys supply just the materials if I wanted to install the countertops, cabinets, etc myself?
Yes, we can provide materials for self-installation. You will need to supply the measurements for the products you want fabricated. We will then order the materials and fabricate the products according to your provided measurements.
What do I need to get a quote from you?
For countertops, we recommend visiting our showroom with a basic sketch and measurements. During your visit, we'll discuss options and provide a quote. If you can't come in, we offer in-home consultations. For cabinet products, please call to schedule an appointment with one of our designers. You'll need to bring photos of your kitchen, measurements, and a list of desired changes or additions.
Do you fabricate the countertops/cabinets based on my measurements?
If you hire us for installation, our team will come to measure the area. For material-only purchases, you or your installer will need to provide the fabrication measurements.

No appointment is necessary to view countertops. You can visit during our regular business hours, and a staff member will assist you. However, appointments are required for cabinet consultations due to the more complex nature of the process, which typically requires an hour or more to discuss details for an estimate.

Our cabinet lines through WW Wood Products are manufactured in the united states. Their production facility is located in Dudley, Missouri.

For laminate countertops purchased with cabinets, we can install them on the final day of cabinet installation. We'll bring the countertop materials and install them immediately after the cabinets, providing you with a functional kitchen on the same day. For countertops purchased elsewhere or made from materials like quartz, the typical lead time is 3-4 weeks after cabinet installation.

Laminate countertops are the most economical option. They typically cost approximately one-half to one-third the price of granite or quartz countertops.
