  During the buying process of our home and not being from the area, we were introduced to Mather's for replacing some windows. They did a nice job at a fair price. We've since had them come back to replace more windows. They were great to work with and look forward to working with them in the future for more windows and other possible siding, gutter and eaves work.

  Great people, Ben and Matt are very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Arrived at the scheduled time and took care with our home. Insulation was completed ahead of schedule and explained everything to me. Mather’s Improvement Services are the best. Thank you the excellent work. I would use them again for future need. Matt and Ben are the best!!!

  Keith and I want to thank Ben Mather’s, Matt Mather’s, Bernie, Beth, Page and all the others that worked on our house! We have been working with them for about a year. We started with our roof, windows, siding, soffit, facia, gutters, doors and insulation and awning . They helped us see what our house would look like when we were finished! It is beautiful! They worked on our house year round in the hot summer and cold winter. They always let me know when they were coming and cleaned before they left. If I had any questions Ben or Matt would always get back to us. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to improve their home.

  We have hired Mather’s for home improvement work twice in the past and have been very pleased. This time, the window installation itself was solid—but communication and scheduling were extremely frustrating. I understood they couldn’t give an exact install date at first because it depended on when the window shipped (that’s fair). However, after a long wait I called for an update and was told the window hadn’t even been ordered yet. Several weeks later I called again and was told the window had arrived—yet no one had reached out to let us know or schedule the installation. On the day of our scheduled appointment (8:00 a.m.), no one showed up and we weren’t notified. I called and was told the installer couldn’t make it. We rescheduled for 8:00 a.m. the next day—again, no show and no call. When I reached out again, the receptionist said she’d look into it and call me back. She was surprised to learn the install couldn’t happen because the sealant requires temperatures above a certain threshold to cure—and we were well below that (typical winter in Wisconsin). A simple forecast check (the day before or even the morning of) and a courtesy call could have prevented two missed appointments and a lot of wasted time. Eventually the weather cooperated and Matt installed the window quickly and cleanly. The finished result looks fine. Unfortunately, my lasting impression is that Mather’s communication, customer service, and follow-through are not what they used to be.

  They did an excellent job on replacing the sliding glass door! They even went above and beyond and fixed the rotting sub floor! (:
