  This morning at around 8:10am the driver of a Farwest van with plate D03529G drove southbound on 1st st and took a left onto Lincoln without using a turn signal. They then drove around 35mph whenever they could, despite Lincoln being a 30mph zone. Most importantly, they went about 25mph through the active school zone next to Robertson Elementary. Was any of this really that bad? No. They did use their signal at other times and they weren't especially aggressive or an especially terrible driver. Do I think you should avoid Farwest because of this? Not necessarily. This was hopefully just the mentality of one employee and not how Farwest generally operates. I can't say for sure either way. Other reviews seem to indicate that Farwest is pretty good, on the whole. So why leave the review? Well, it's a red flag to me. If someone is willing to speed through a school zone to save a few seconds while driving a van boldly emblazoned with the name of their company, can I really trust that person to take the time to do a job at my home when I have no idea how to even check the quality of their work? Or are they going to cut corners that will lead to problems and expenses for me just so they can clock out 5 minutes earlier that day? It's just probably worth paying close attention if you hire them.

  They did a great job. I have a radiant floor heating system and needed a pump replaced as well as a new thermostat. All was replaced in about 2 hours. I live in an area that is hard to get service companies to come out. They drove over an hour to my place through snow. They were very professional and their price was extremely competitive. I will be using them for all of my radiant floor needs going forward.
