- RMRobert MartinDec 30, 20252.0For context, the service from the technicians is 5 stars. I highly recommend Comfort 360, but recently they've moved to using AI assistance with call handling. I have to be blunt, this is extremely disappointing. I understand that it can save time and get people through the process, but I personally like talking with a human representative whenever possible, especially when it comes to things that have to do with my home. I ask a lot of questions before moving forward with scheduling appointments in the case that there may be some user error on my end and I can avoid having someone come out for something thats easily fixable. I tried many times to connect with a human representative, granted this was during the holidays (I called on normal business days after actual holiday days), and I know a lot of people can be out of office. Personally, if there was some messaging saying that there could be delays due to the time of year, that would be a lot better for me, as I want people to prioritize family over work. That being said, the AI assistant wouldn't direct me to a human representative, and insisted on scheduling a technician when I know that just having someone out to my home will typically cost some kind of fee (I know not it all cases). If you're going to continue using AI assistance for appointment scheduling, please adjust the AI to at least give me the option to talk with someone. When you're spending that kind of money on AI, you should be able to have an answering machine for people who'd prefer to talk to a human representative if you're not around. Like I said, before they started using AI for call handling, I would give them 5 stars for sure.
