    They came out to address an issue with our tankless water heater. The tech found a faulty check valve. When it arrived he installed it in about 20 mins. They charged $509.62 after a $250.00 discount! That was above and beyond a $393.00 diagnostic fee (more than reasonable) When I called to say I thought that was excessive for 20 mins. work all they said was they would offer a $200.00 credit on a future service.

    Had Mercurio's come out to replace a short run of damaged duct work under my house. Only about 25 feet. Technician arrived on time and seemed very knowledgeable and polite. Unfortunately that's where it ended. Could not come back to complete the repair till after Christmas, but got an appointment scheduled the following Monday between 8AM and Noon. At 8:25 the day of, I got a text canceling the appointment because the tech was out that day. Aggravating. Was rescheduled for the next day, Tuesday, between 8AM and Noon again. Then on Tuesday I got a call at 8:50AM (NOTE: Again this call came in AFTER my arrival window had already started) I got a call saying they had to cancel because nobody ordered the flex duct, and they wouldn't be able to get it for another WEEK! They were nice and apologetic, but I don't need nice and apologetic, I want competent and punctual. Mercurio's is the biggest HVAC contractor in Tacoma, how could they not have in stock OR be able to purchase SAME DAY from any HVAC supply store a short run of flex duct that is literally installed in every house built in the last 50+ years. Heck I even checked Home Depot and they have it. I will have them finish this project since I'm already in it for money, but that will be the last work they will perform for me. Absolutely ridiculous.

    I hired Mercurios to do an inspection of an old furnace. The technician called to inform me that he was on his way and that's the last I heard from the company. Absolutely no follow up or anything!! I called to inquire about what the issue was with the furnace and the office manager had a hard time finding the information, when I got the information that the technician recommended replacement I asked for a bid estimate. Once again zero follow up or communication whatsoever. I don't feel like a valued customer and I wouldn't recommend Mercurios.

    My wife and I purchased a new furnace and full HVAC system from Mercurio’s approximately five years ago. Since installation, the furnace serving our upstairs has experienced repeated failures, occurring annually. Each repair has taken several weeks, and in some cases months, to complete, resulting in extended periods without heat during winter. Most recently, the system failed again on Christmas Eve while hosting family. We paid an emergency service fee despite the unit being under warranty and were advised that the repair may take weeks. Our experience has been impacted by long service timelines and limited resolution options. Additionally, the company has changed ownership since our purchase, which may explain the difference between expectations and current service. Based on our experience, we would not choose this provider again. We are hoping that Mercurios will accommodate replacing this clearly deficient system with a new system that will make it through at least a single winter.

    We installed a new furnace and full HVAC system with Mercurio’s 5 years ago. The upstairs furnace has failed every single year since installation. Repairs routinely take from 2 to 5 weeks leaving us without heat for much of winter. It’s Christmas Eve, our house is full of family, and once again the furnace is down. We just paid $350 for an emergency service call on a unit under warranty and were told it could take weeks to fix—again. This is no longer a family-owned business; it’s a national company with little to no customer service. After five years of repeat failures and long delays, I strongly recommend avoiding Mercurio’s. We would be very welcome to Mercurios reaching out to us to replace this furnace so that we can go more than one year without losing heat for an extended period of time.
