We have a curved staircase which had been carpeted. Juan was the installer who removed the carpeting and installed engineered hardwood. Not only was the staircase curved, but each step required individual fitting. Juan is truly a craftsman and his work is perfect!

We understood there was going to be disruptions to our daily routine for the project. What wasn’t expected or appreciated was a 6-8-week project turning into a 6-month project. That was an extraordinary inconvenience. After initially contacting Brothers July 2024, they finally started demo in October 2024. We did have 2 weekdays in Nov 2024 where we couldn't have workers here. However, 6 months after the work started the last worker was done in April, 2025. Nearly 10 months after we initially contacted them, we got the final bill in May 2025. The reason it took so long was that, with a few exceptions, there was a complete lack of care, attention to detail, and forethought by everyone involved with our project. From the Remodel Manager, Project Coordinator, to their contractors & workers. Virtually every one of their work crews were fired or had to make repeated extra trips. All due to lack of coordination by the project coordinator, bad attitude, or poor workmanship. One example was the tile work. They installed the incorrect color floor drain & did not blend the stone tiles for the walk-in shower floor making it look like a chess board. They then had to demo out the stones and redo the floor. That turned out good but the tile under the shower curb top wasn’t cut or set correctly. So, we had a third trip, this time by another tile company, to correct the issue. Brothers’ personnel had many of their own issues. For example, the cabinets were ordered in the wrong color. So now the non-factory paint is constantly chipping making this a continual upkeep nightmare. Another is the Project Manager suggesting the tub remain in place for the duration of the remodel. Unfortunately, no work crew thought they should put a drop cloth over the tub. So, it ended up with a decent size gouge in the bottom of the tub. The repair person they sent did a rather poor job of filling it as it arguably looks worse after. He then tried to blame it on the tub being damp when he showed up due to us rinsing animal hair, dirt, etc. down the drain. He never said anything about the tub needing to be dry before our complaint. The tub also ended up with numerous small, micro scratches in various places all over the tub. No, they were not there before the job. In retrospect, leaving the tub in place was an extremely poor decision on their part. Not only because of the damage incurred to the tub, but if we ever have to replace it we will have to tear out the surrounding custom quartz. In addition, the rest of the matching quartz throughout the bathroom may have to be replaced. At the end of the job the remodel manager came over to look at the gouge in the tub and a couple other items were pointed out. For example: In the water closet the wall repair from the old, taller base molding was not made. We now have walls with painted over gouges and holes above the new baseboard. His response: that is what happens when a job ends like this one did. There were also scuffs & pen marks on brand new tile floor that would not come off with a magic eraser. His response: try goof off, etc. After nearly 6 months we had had enough and told them to get it done in the next week or we were done with them. Had we not done that I have every confidence that we’d still be dealing with them trying to finish the job. There is apparently a labor warranty from Brothers. We notified them that the bathtub filler had the hot and cold reversed 6+ weeks ago. They said they’d have someone come over and correct it. We have heard nothing since. So, I have zero faith that they’ll fulfill anything under their warranty. Also, we are still waiting to get the itemized list of products with their respective warranties as promised by the project coordinator. The above is just a small sample of the type of poor professionalism one can expect from the Brothers’ remodel department. Yes, the job got done. However, it’s very evident to us that this job was far beyond their knowledge and abilities. Had we not been paying close attention to the work it would have been a total disaster.

We had the most positive experience redoing our upstairs floors with Brothers. Every step of the way was transparent, professional, accurate, and delivered a first-class result. Jessica helped us pick out the product and oversaw our install from the paperwork side of things. She responded quickly to our questions and followed up with us along the way. When a few pieces were delivered with some defects she corrected the issue right away and personally delivered new products to our home. The installer, Juan, was phenomenal. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional and was only satisfied with a perfect installation. We appreciated his attention to detail immensely. Our finished home looks great and we are so happy with the interactions we had with Brothers! I will recommend them to anyone who asks me about flooring near Spokane in the future without hesitation!

My wife and I discovered hardwood (well sub floor) under our carpet upstairs in our 1930's home that we wanted to bring back to life, instead of laying new hardwood on top. We hired Brothers Flooring to do the job and we couldn't be happier. The floors came out amazing and the process was a lot of fun. Shea, the lead floor re-finisher for Brothers was outstanding. He was a pleasure to work with and to learn from. He takes great pride in his work and you can tell he really loves what he does because it shows in his work. Brothers was recommended to us and we'll for sure be recommending Brothers to others when the opportunity arises.
