Very poor customer service. We asked for a bid. No follow up, when called got answering service. They no showed for two appointments. This was all at the beginning when we were trying to order a new furnace.
We got the sense they may be very short staffed. We ended up going w another company.

Had this company come out for service, they were promoting eight dollar maintenance charge at home depot. When their technician arrived, he insisted my furnace needed an additional $200 maintenance charge. I didn’t want to do it, but he insisted and told me my furnace was not running properly, and it was overheating. Before he showed up, it was working perfectly fine. So be careful if you’re ever at Home Depot and this company is sitting there advertising an eight dollar service fee for maintenance on your furnace. It will probably be more than that….its a scam!

Update: Beware, this company is now owned out of state and operating as "Bearcat". They refuse to honor their warranties. Stay local.
Update: According to their competitor, Hurliman has gone out of business. Makes sense.
Update to original: Now they refuse to answer the phone. No answer, no call back. Nothing.
I had a bait and switch "tune up" done all in the guise of "trying to help". The technician showed up and said it was old and needed to be replaced. I had another company out to see what their opinion was and they said it's running perfectly. I no longer trust this company as they just want to sell something.

(UPDATE: I responded to the email that was provided, I called the office as directed and no follow up. No answer and no response.... I waited for them to do the right thing and replace this. I finally got someone over from a different company because I was tired of being cold and they fixed the fan… this is after having 2 of Hirlimans people over to fix it. It took the guy 10 minutes. He actually gave me readings of the motor and the compressor and told me it is running fine. He said that a wire was detached that was the only reason it didn’t work! Shady company very shady!!! Stay away!)
I scheduled a furnace tune-up and 21-point inspection through Home Depot because I wanted to maintain my system and help it run as long as possible. My furnace was running fine but they had a little table inside the store that said $8.88 tune-up. I was like what's the catch and she said they just wanted their name out there more and if anything went wrong they would come back and fix it, so I thought no brainier.
Immediately after the service was completed, the furnace stopped working. The blower now hums but does not spin, and there is a burning smell. The unit was functioning normally before the appointment.
After reporting the issue, I was told the blower motor had failed and was also told that the unit had been “non-operational” prior to the visit. That is not accurate. The furnace was working before the technician arrived, and I would not have scheduled a tune-up if it had already been non-functional. I have video proof of people in my house the day before furnace working great, eye witnesses and a roommate that is freezing in my basement now till I figure this out.
The appointment felt more like a sales consultation than a maintenance service. No cleaning was performed, and the reason I booked the tune-up was to extend the life of my furnace not to be told it needed major replacement without being provided documented diagnostic readings.
I asked continuously, was on the phone multiple times with them, and was told that since it was old it was time to replace it anyway. I have kept it going for this long and in the world I grew up in if you break it you should replace it. What I experienced is they broke it, blame me for it, and ofter to replace it for $1600.
When I requested documentation of capacitor and amp draw measurements, none were provided. Instead of addressing the immediate failure following the service, I was offered a refund of the tune-up fee.
I have escalated the matter through Home Depot. Homeowners should ensure they receive clear documentation and detailed diagnostics when scheduling maintenance services.
