- BLBrian LaSalle4 days ago5.0I called in the morning to schedule an appointment for BullDog Rooter to take a look at my water heater and get a bid for replacement. They arrived at my house at 2 PM, gave a reasonable bid, and by 5 PM the work was done and I had hot water! Taylor, the lead tech, was courteous, explained what needed to be done, and worked well with his assistant (sorry, cannot recall his name), to get the work done. My existing tank was so filled with sediment it would not drain. They were able to clear the valve and drain it, no problem. I very much appreciate the work they did. Thank you!

More than that he went out of his way to make a return trip to assist with getting the water back on when I couldn't handle it myself. With all his friendly advise and his attention to detail to make your customer extremely pleased. Initially I was going to try a different provider because I felt your price for the job was high and not within my budget being a senior living on social security. After Matt's professionalism and taking his time and expertise to answer all my questions and then some. I decided to put the repair on my high interest credit card.Thanks Matt! - WMWill MetgeNov 17, 20251.0I liked the technician and his trainee, and they got the job done but the Bulldog the company has issues: 1. Called on a Saturday with flooding basement and they couldn't get me in until Mon morning between 8a and 10a (frustrating). Monday morning when I called for an exact time, they had lost/forgotten the appointment and had to scramble to get someone out. 2. They had no hydrojet in their van. Tech said that half their hydrojets were broken so would have to go back to shop and see if they could find one; costing me an extra hour of PTO. Come on Bulldog, support your staff with the proper working equipment! 3. Total time spent on drain clean-out was about an hour. I get paying for expertise, but $680/hr is significantly more than my lawyer or my doctor. 4. On top of that, Bulldog has a really skimpy 30-day guarantee (for a clean out with full camera inspection). This just incentivizes a poor job so they get called again in a month. --- I would not recommend Bulldog and will not be using them again.

When they did they ripped off the installation and cut pipes and left pieces of pipe insulation and other garbage besides not putting the squirting back on like they were supposed to and left the place a wreck. Numerous people I know here had the same issues. I drove around and saw it on many homes. When the company was contacted the owner was rude and dismissive. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Do you really want someone who can't accept criticism but thinks everything they do is 👌. I read another review about garden fences ripped out and they also had a bad experience with the owner. Just a coincidence. Humm...... I think not Oh yeah. My sister is having to pay a GOOD plumber to come out and rewrap her pipes they left exposed after ripping the insulation off and leaving it that way.
- SCShirley ClarkNov 12, 20251.0We called to get help getting a sink drain to work that we have had issues with off and on. We thought a "rooter" service would solve this issue. We were charged a diagnosis charge for what we knew needed done. Two weeks after the service person was here the sink was plugged up again. We called a handyman and he came and unplugged the sink for us. He was far cheaper than the "rooter" service. But now we had even more expense involved. This experience with your company was very expensive, the service was a failure, and the service person was arrogant and not a good listerner. It was a horrible experience for us.
