  We had a clogged mainline that was blocking most fixtures in our house. This happened, of course, late on a Saturday, so we needed Sunday service. Jafco responded immediately to my Angi inquiry, and Sean arrived within 90 minutes. For a Sunday morning, I think that's pretty terrific. Sean did solve the problem within about an hour. I did not like Sean's approach to billing. He opened up an outdoor backflow preventer first (kinda a fancy cleanout), but he ultimately simply snaked from our powder room drain. Afterwards he told me that there would be a $100 upcharge since it wasn't an "accessible location." He said it was hard to open the cleanout, and since that location ended up not working he had to change to the bathroom drain which was somehow considered "inaccessible." I thought this was pretty bogus given that I watched him access the drain in less than 60 seconds. I balked at this, and Sean agreed to only charge me the "base rate" of $499. I didn't like the experience of trying to have the "inaccessible location" forced on us when I saw nothing inaccessible about either location and the total job took less than an hour. Sean also started the sales pitch for additional things like yearly maintenance, but I wasn't interested given this was a one-time clog and the first in 25 years.

  I had a corrugated yard drain pipe that was backed up and flooding my driveway. Jafco came out the same day. Miguel carefully cleaned out the line with their equipment, repeating the process multiple times and not stopping until he was sure it was as clear as possible. He scoped the pipe and marked its location for me. He also answered all my nerdy questions about the equipment and was very friendly. I’ll continue to work with Jafco and recommend them too.

  Had Jafco come out and replace a toilet drain with new piping, reroute toilet and sink fill lines etc, for a bathroom remodel. The toilet drain didn't get set to code - it was too close to a side wall, and too far out from the back wall. I'm now paying another plumber to fix this mistake. Nice guy that came out, but annoyed that I am having to redo work. Tried contacting the plumber that came out (he gave me his cell) and heard nothing.

  Garrett and Abraham of Jafco Plumbing did a great job with my 1929 bathroom and tub! I had no water pressure in my shower/bath. I wanted to make it run better without opening the wall and destroying the old tile. They replaced the old pipes in the basement and washers in the stems of the tub faucet. When I had a question after the initial work they were responsive and addressed the issue with no fuss. Other plumbing estimators were not willing to consider leaving the wall alone and seemed to want to sell me things I didn't really need yet. I reallly appreciate Jafco.

  I would not recommend this company. Two separate times we called them and they said that it would not cost anything for the person to come out to give a quote. Both times the guy that came out said that there was actually going to be charge and the info we received on the phone was incorrect. Classic bait and switch tactics. “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice…” anyways, we’ll be looking elsewhere for our future plumbing needs.
