  DO NOT USE FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION. We built a 4700 sq ft house on Bainbridge Island with Sunset as the electrical contractor responsible for all rough in and electrical finishing. It’s been 100% impossible to get them to send someone out to even diagnose the issues with their installation. They came once and “did not bring the right tools to fix” and said they needed to reschedule. After 6 months and multiple calls we decided to cut our losses and hire other electricians to repair. James was the supervisor who kept ducking us.

  I DON'T LIKE TO LEAVE BAD REVIEWS BUT I WANT TO WARN YOU: Discussed different exhaust fan options with Ron. I picked one for $198 and was provided a quote plus charge per hour. The day came for the guy to come install. He stays in there for about two hours and then comes out and says, "I was sweeping for an hour." I grabbed my vacuum and was thinking, Seriously dude? I cleaned it up myself. My bathroom is literally like 30–35 sq. feet. Next, I get the invoice. The price for the fan on their invoice was higher than agreed upon, plus they charged me the two hours. So I am pissed. I called and said "absolutely not" in so many words. Then I didn't hear from them for about 3 months. Eventually, they call and say that my invoice was adjusted. I asked them to send me a new one. They do, promptly. The exhaust price was accurate, as agreed at the beginning. Yet they still charged me $60.00 for that technician sweeping for an hour. I'm extremely disappointed and want to warn others. Pay close attention to your invoice, and make sure to time the technicians. Should probably closely monitor them as well. Maybe provide your people with vacuums, claiming an hour's time is $120.00 dollars. That's pretty darn close to stealing out of peoples pockets. DISAPPOINTED and will not do business with them again OR recommend. The two stars (which is generous) was for readjusting the invoice a wee-bit. Just not good enough.

  Ron came out to our house this week.Incredible!Answered all questions in a way wife and I understood. Gave us a clear, great estimate AND fixed a problem when he was here. Thanks Ron and Sunset Electric!

  They did an excellent job and were able to schedule us in quickly. The electricians were nice people and fixed our problems. They also didn't try to upsell us. Overall it's a great local shop.
