This was terrific as we lost power while the part was on order and without the temporary fix we would have been without the generator to keep us at least partly in service. This kind of creative thinking comes from qualified / competent staff with good experience and knowledge. Great work Island Electric!

- FEFred EoffDec 17, 20255.0I was assisting a good friend with a strange electrical problem in his mid - 50s cabin which I was pretty sure was service panel related and so advised him. Island Electric did an initial inspection and conclude the panel, while old, was a very solid model and they did not recommend replacing it. They did recommend some changes to upgrade the original recessed fluorescent fixture in the kitchen area which eliminated the old ballast and replace the tubes with newer versions which did not need a ballast. While doing that they discovered a switch which seemed worn and erratic and replaced it. All in all, a very reasonably priced job well done and well below the cost of replacing the panel as we originally expected. Highly recommend this folks!
