I contacted Seatown related to diagnose and provide an estimate for whole house low water pressure. Scheduling was great, they were able to schedule an appointment next day. Our plumbing tech was Jacky. He texted about 30 minutes ahead of arriving. Once arriving he quickly diagnosed our PRV was likely faulty. Unfortunately, he'd used his van stock the day before and needed to order the part. We scheduled a follow up appointment. During the follow up, Jacky arrived installed the PRV in the garage, cleaned up afterward, then checked water pressure and pipes throughout the house to ensure the pressure issue was corrected. It was. I'd highly recommend Seatown, especially Jacky. He was professional, friendly and solved our issues efficiently.

I'm glad it seems many customers have had a good to great experience with Seatown, but honestly, the experience we've had has been suboptimal for my partner and I. We've had multiple scheduling problems including appointments not even being scheduled despite them already being paid for and appointments being cancelled at the last minute. After our initial appointment to discuss cost and options, we were told by our electrical technician they would be able to come out the same day as the HVAC technician, but when the date came, we were told our account had been filed as completed and no technician was coming out. We are now dealing with a scheduling issue for work that is already paid for, and it is just frustrating. To Seatown's credit, their technicians are very competent and do good work, but scheduling has been very frustrating. We just want the work we've paid for to be completed so we can move on.

I had a clogged drain in my kitchen and tried to handle it myself (I am relatively handy). Tried drain cleaner and a 25 foot auger... nothing. I called Seatown and they were able to get someone out the next morning (little delayed from expected time, but you can't always guess how long other appointments will take). Liam was able to solve the issue and all for VASTLY less than I would ever have expected. There was a $25 special for cleanouts -- I thought "yeah, $25 for easy things, then there will be a $300 upcharge." I was wrong... $25 (plus taxes) was the actual total... less than the auger was from Home Depot. I should have called Seatown to begin with, have saved my time, money, and effort.

Their work was ok when they got around to it. Their communication was spotty at best. We signed a contract to fix our sewer line with them telling us they could start later that day, and maybe even finish that day. Later that day they said they couldn’t do it that day, but they’d be there first thing in the morning. Next morning they said they’d be out Saturday morning because something came up (it was Friday at the time). Saturday didn’t happen of course, but they did show on Monday morning without letting us know they were coming (if you weren’t keeping track, the only time they showed so far was the only time they didn’t say they would). Half way through that job they called and let me know there was an issue and needed me to meet them out there (I’d have been there already if they told me they were coming). I arrived to an abandoned 8 foot deep 3x5 open hole and no shoring in our front yard. After we got an additional contract signed to double the price and scope we were told they’d be out Friday to finish both parts up and clean things up (which included removing tree and roots of the tree that caused this. They assured me both times I was signing their contract that removing tree stump was no problem and they’d make sure it got done cause they already had an excavator there. I had already cut the tree down so it was only yanking the stump and leaving it in our driveway to do. They showed up on Friday and “finished”, but when I stopped by to check it out the stump was still there of course and when I texted my contact (the specific guy who promised stump removal) he just ghosted me. It wasn’t written into the contract so I’m sure that will never happen, but it sure woulda helped had they done it. Oh well, the actual work in the contract was done and seems ok so I’ve paid them in full, but I have to admit my overall experience could have been better.

We have used Seatown for multiple projects from minor electrical to whole house rewires and have always had outstanding service and professionalism. Our latest project involved our furnace(originally Seatown didn't do furnaces and we had a different company) the original company not only did a horrible job maintaining it they couldn't diagnosing the issue that occurred recently so we had Seatown out now that they do furnaces. We had Kevin come out and he quickly diagnosed the problem and figured out the solution. He kept in constant communication, was professional, and got our heat back on. If you want a no BS company that is honest, professional, and won't upcharge you, go with Seatown!
