I've seen them install windows in all types of siding (brick and mortar, wood, vinyl siding) with the end-product looking and feeling completely professional. The install teams are personable and intentional, never did I feel like they were taking shortcuts or compromising quality. Did mistakes happen? Sure, that's inevitable with complex window installations in old structures (and one of our buildings was VERY old, built in 1910!), but Window World went above and beyond in correcting them and ensuring the final product was exactly what they promised it would be.

Drew and his installation crew were unbelievably efficient, precise and did AMAZING work. For this nine day project, they cleaned up their messes daily. I had 40 plus windows replaced and a couple of them totally rebuilt! It is not only disruptive to go through a whole house window remodel, it is very expensive, and unlike other kinds of remodels (like updated kitchens, bathrooms, painting, etc.), I did not expect it to be particularly "exciting". I was very wrong. The difference in temperature in my house on hot days is HUGE. It is so much cooler in here now (without air conditioning) than it was with my 30 year old windows!!!! And, as an extra bonus, they replace broken windows at no charge, which is very nice for those of us near a golf course! Thank you Window World!

The majority of our replacement windows are installed from the outside. In some situations it may be necessary to install from the inside. On the day of installation, your installation expert will assess your unique situation and explain the process that will best suit your home.
Do you install replacement windows year-round? If so, will I lose a lot of heat/cooling at the time of installation?
Window World installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
How can I prepare my house for my replacement windows?
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
How long will it take to get my replacement windows? How much time should I allow for the installation?
Since every window ordered is custom-built to fit your home and design choices, manufacturing times vary. Once delivered, the type of window being installed and the type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average, each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
What type of warranty is available for my windows?

What happens to my old windows?
After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as it arrives for your installation.
