- BBBoyd BuhlJul 2, 20251.0I came here Monday to get some lumber and hardware and had a terrible experience. I got Everything from 16 foot 4x8s to 2x6s. The guy at the front was helpful and had me go around to pick up my stuff. I drove up to a forklift driver and he told me to pull around to the customer area. I was the only customer there but I sat around for 25 mins while forklifts drivers drove all around me doing everything but making eye contact. Finally a truck driver came over and asked if I was waiting. He said he saw me there when he went on a delivery and came back I was still there so thought he'd ask. 15 minutes later a guy comes and takes my order. Took another 25 minutes or so to get it gathered. The worst part is that EVERY piece of lumber I was given is terrible, to the extent that they're probably structurally unsound for even joists. There's no way this was done on accident. The chances of getting so many unusable pieces of lumber is astronomical. He must have given me the lumber from the rejection pile. I should have looked closer and I should have inspected the beam closer before I installed it. Now I gotta deal with my structural engineer to see if I need to tear that out before proceeding with my project. I'll never come here and again and if you're a homeowner you shouldn't either. They got on over on me I guess but they lost a customer for life and the rest of the materials for my house. Lesson learned.

I was looking for a wide variety of Trex and other composite deck products and Parr had fantastic examples of several different colors from 3 different companies. The price was amazing, about 20% cheaper than the big box stores and they were able to delivered my order about 2 weeks sooner than any other retailer. Highly recommended and if you’re in the market for anything composite deck related, I highly suggest you start here first, either online or in store
