  I came into Western Carpet Center this morning with the sole intention of apologizing. I had briefly parked a 26-foot box truck in their lot, which was completely empty and large enough to easily hold 20 cars. I was unable to move the truck to my place of residence at the time, and out of basic respect, I chose to come inside and speak to the owner man to man. I did not have to do that — but I did. What followed was shocking and completely uncalled for. Instead of a conversation, I was met with an explosive and unhinged reaction from the owner. He went berserk, yelling at the top of his lungs and repeatedly berating me over the situation. There was no attempt at discussion, only rage. It’s hard to understand how you can do business with someone who claims to own a place of business and possess common sense, yet can still act like a complete buffoon when upset over something so simple. At one point, while I was speaking directly to the owner, he yelled something that I will never forget: “You better be grateful to me.” We do not know each other. That statement alone was deeply inappropriate and disturbing given the circumstances. This interaction alone ensured that this business will never receive my money. You never speak to a potential client — or any person — in that manner, especially someone who approached you with respect and accountability. I walked away stunned and disappointed. I hope this man finds peace in his life and takes time to reflect on how he treats others. A business can have quality products, but professionalism and basic human decency matter just as much — and today, both were completely absent. I will remember this experience, and I will not be returning.

  Fast, fair and good, friendly service. I went to three other flooring stores and these guys had the right carpet for just the right price. Save yourself some time and just come straight to these guys. I had them install two rooms and just had them do a third today. Highly recommend!

  Will and everyone over at Western Carpet knocked it out of the park! I went to them with a somewhat rough and rushed order, after one of the big-name places left me hanging…They were able to get the carpet I wanted, scheduled installation suprisingly fast and then the install went very smoothly. Quality of carpet and work is top notch too. I would recommend this company to anyone and will probably be calling them again for future work.

  The store and building it is in are a bit dated, but the selection is great and service is excellent. They really care about the job they do.
