  After reaching out to three other HVAC companies—Lifetime Heating and A/C, Go Green, and Evergreen—I ultimately chose Ballard Natural Gas to install a new Mitsubishi HyperHeat heat pump in my home. Joe, the sales person, truly earns his title as a systems design expert. He was the only one who took the time to thoroughly calculate my home's manual J, measuring every window and coming prepared with the King County property record to ensure accurate sizing. This attention to detail immediately set Ballard apart. Joe explained every step of the process, which gave me confidence in the project, especially compared to the other companies whose sales reps spent just five minutes looking around before leaving. Ballard provided the most reasonable quote and was flexible during negotiations The entire Ballard team made the experience seamless. Zoe from finance was incredibly helpful, patiently walking me through all my financing options and even resolving a concern I had about Ballard’s warranty and lifetime service claims—both of which are solid and reassuring. Clinton also deserves a shoutout for confirming the work I needed to do to install the A/C disconnect for the outdoor unit; his enabling and helpful attitude made both my prep work and the installation day smooth and successful. On installation day, Jay and Anthony, the service technicians, were fantastic. They took great care to keep my home clean, and Anthony worked hard to ensure the outdoor unit was installed tightly and neatly. Jay’s nearly 30 years of experience showed in the fit and finish of the indoor unit—his work integrating it with my existing ductwork was truly impressive. Overall, I would easily recommend Ballard Natural Gas to anyone considering HVAC work. From the first touchpoint, every member of the team was professional, thorough, and genuinely invested in making sure the job was done right. The combination of expertise, attention to detail, and customer service made this a standout experience.

  I have been in Seattle long enough to try several different HVAC service companies and this one is the best. I have used them several times. Never any high-pressure selling. I trust them when they say something is broken and needs to be replaced. Austin did a fair and thorough diagnostic visit. Jay and Anthony were very friendly and did an amazing install job. The new furnace install looks a lot better than the previous one.

  We had Chris come out to install a WiFi connection to our existing Mitsubishi heat pump thermostat and it was such a smooth process. He also checked the pilot on our recently installed gas log set and made an adjustment to reduce the sound it was making. Highly recommend Chris and Ballard Natural Gas.

  Every contact I had with someone from Ballard Natural Gas was professional and customer oriented. Zoe Kraus in the office, scheduling appointments and taking care of the financing offer. Tony Ragsdale at our home listening to what we wanted, creating a clear and detailed proposal and printing the whole thing out before he left. The detailed walkthrough with Tony and Clinton 2 days before the install to make sure we all had the same understanding of what was going to be done is such a smart business practice. Jay and Tony who did the install also walked through the whole plan with us before beginning. The care they took to protect floors and spaces was impressive. They were as non intrusive as anyone could be given what needed to be done. They left everything neatly cleaned up both on the night between the two day job and at the end. This is a company and a group of people who care about the quality of the work they do. They are truly exceptional. I have a lot of admiration and respect for them.

  First time working with BNGS for fireplace service, they were very prompt to set up the visit, communicated clearly in advance about price, and I got a heads up before the tech arrived to know exactly who it should be which is nice. Chris was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He walked me through the fireplace we have so I understood the parts, answered my many questions, and explained how I can fix the ignitor myself (or of course call them back if we prefer). I appreciate that they aren't pushy about their services. They just show up and provide a great experience. I'll definitely call them again for any future issues.
