Founded in 1985, ST Glass & Window Specialists (South Tacoma Glass Specialists) is an award-winning provider of residential, multi-family, and automotive glass, window, and door services and installations. We began our journey in Tacoma with just one truck and two employees in a small facility dedicated to auto glass and windshields. Over time, we expanded our offerings to include the servicing, repair, and replacement of residential windows and doors, with the ambition of becoming the leading residential glass company in Pierce County. Today, our reach extends throughout the Puget Sound, and we take pride in replacing, repairing, and installing a diverse range of glass, window and door products for homes, vehicles, cars, RVs, and trucks.

I have gotten this service done at Safelite in the past and I will say, it really feels like ST Glass & Window prioritizes the customer and valued my time with their super friendly/ knowledgeable staff (better price too). I hope I don't have any new rock chips but I am looking forward to scheduling a window tint service with them soon!
- BKBill KitchenDec 30, 20251.0John did a poor job when I met him for the estimate to replace a sliding glass door window. He appeared to be in a bad mood and was not very professional. He failed to provide any information about details of the job. We had another estimate the next day from another company. The person I met with for the estimate was very professional and did a great job explaining everything. Although that companies estimate was approximately $115 more, we went with that company and they replaced the window today. They were very professional all through the process. My dad, my two brothers and I have used Lakewood Glass for years, but If John is a reflection of how you guys do business now, we will no longer use Lakewood Glass again. Hopefully John can get a better understanding on how important giving an estimate is and how he is a reflection of the company. I really do not enjoy giving a negative review, that is why I waited to respond.

Todd who came out to quote the project was very knowledgeable, along with Paul who did the final measurements and then Kenneth and his team that put in our double glazed replacement windows and door did an amazing job and were very efficient. I would highly recommend this company. The price was fair and reasonable and they even dealt with the rebate claim side of things from our town. They took all the mess from the previous old windows and left the job site tidy!

They moved the furniture they needed to for the window replacements then moved it all back and they got my whole house done in one day. After receiving several quotes their pricing was very fair as well! So while I was only planning on doing the sliding glass backdoor I actually ended up having them do all the windows at once too. The owner Hank was very kind and personable, which you dont see to often nowadays. I would highly recommend giving them a call for your glass replacement needs.
