Vic and his team were highly professional, fair and communicative. They kept to the schedule, did highly quality work and were good problem solvers with a few issues that came up with project. We would use them again.

I reached out to Johnson & Sons and several other contractors to discuss the possibility of opening up and completely remodeling my kitchen and bathrooms, with the addition of a shower to the former half bath off the master suite.
After receiving bids and meeting with each contractor, I went with Johnson & Sons due to the transparency and consideration Vic Johnson showed when discussing the project and its challenges, as well as providing a detailed quote. Because this remodel involved the removal of walls, tiling of the kitchen/bathrooms, potential size constraints, and a re-plumbing of the house, It was very important for me that things be done correctly, to code and with permits.
Once demo and construction started, things proceeded at a brisk pace with minimal lag between subcontractors, and inspections. Their tile guy, Tony was great to work with and very helpful with making the appropriate detail selections around the showers.
We did have a long wait for a cosmetic piece of cabinet siding, which ended up being the final part needed to complete the project. Vic was direct with me about the issue and the delay. Such a minor issue is in my opinion, very small potatoes compared to having quality work done.
Ultimately, Johnson & Sons came in slightly under their contract price - a very pleasant and welcome surprise.
We had a great experience with Johnson and Sons Construction (JASC) on our extensive remodel. Their team is knowledgeable, considerate, and quite competent. Our remodel entailed removing/adding walls and plumbing, extensive electrical improvements, all new millwork, doors, flooring, custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, plumbing and light fixtures, tilework, paint and wallpaper. Despite unforeseen complications (unknown pluming, structural and ventilation issues in our older building), JASC bent over backwards to keep the project moving forward. We highly recommend JASC for any projects you might have.

Before we initially hired Johnson & Sons, we were careful about due diligence and spoke to their references. When we completed that first project, we were very pleased, so we echoed the earlier references and spoke about how well everything was handled. When we had another small project, we went straight to Johnson & Sons, and again are very pleased with their work. Vic is an excellent communicator and leaves no stone unturned, keeping us fully up to date with respect to scheduling. Vic’s relationships with the subcontractors makes the entire process seamless. So if any of you have been frustrated by workers that are AWOL, or by unwelcome changes in scope, or by inferior results, go straight to Johnson & Sons to solve all those issues!
Johnsons and Sons, once again, make the vision a realty. New floors, cabinets, countertops, paint, lighting in our Laundry Room/Mud Room-entryway (and new fireplace!). Top to bottom: perfect. Vic's communication throughout the project never left us guessing who was coming when and what we could expect on a day-to-day basis. He was always very clear on the cost and timing, no surprises. Jon gets the work DONE; I'm not sure there's anything he cannot do. And Tony . . . his tile work is second to none. We've asked Tony to tackle many and varied tile projects; his attention to detail has never left us disappointed and his finished product has always been the highlight. The Johnson and Sons subs (flooring, drywall, paint, electrical) are courteous, professional, and timely. When things are "missed" or overlooked (as ALWAYS happens with ANY project), the subs promptly return to get the work done, never a problem. Two more rooms to go and Johnson and Sons will have touched every room of our house.
