Both DYI projects took a lot more time than planned and the overall appearance quickly faded over a few years. Bath Fitter is a one and done investment. The quality is unbeatable and the entire bath surround is very easy to clean with vinegar and water. We have had our Bath Fitter for 15+ years and it looks brand new. I also love the fact that Bath Fitter's will re-calk for free.
