Rainier fencing just finished installing my new fence after my old one blew down this winter. They did an amazing job and I would definitely recommend them!

$17k job to replace our old fence and gate. The job was barely average work. I'm still finding concrete wash in my backyard. I've had to chip out my drip lines. Rainier boasts about their wood quality, but I'm looking at multiple warped boards and split caps. The boards are short and the gate sags. Local dogs are crawling under the fence easily.
They also punctured my irrigation system repeatedly. The crew was shown the location of the pipes and still ran up over $1000 in repairs at my expense. After multiple other property damage claims, they took ownership of a single irrigation breakage. Their shoddy repair failed within a year. They couldn't be bothered with a slip fix and just split the difference on either end, leaving the pipe seated only halfway into either coupling. Of course it failed.
After Doug ghosted me for a month, I had decided to see what their price was for abandoning a customer. Doing the fix myself cost $23 in parts and less than an hour of work. If I was getting a wage, I'm betting this fix was under $100 if Rainier decided to be accountable. After charging $17k for building a mediocre fence, it would have been smart to make right on their mistakes.
Rainier's product and ethic is virtually identical to that fella your buddy knows that'll do it on the cheap. They'll both try to worm out of their mistakes and outright ghost you if given the chance. If you hire Rainier, mark your irrigation lines clearly and good luck patching it up anyway.
The 2nd star is pretty generous, but the fence hasn't fallen down so they at least did that right.
Rainier Fencing did an EXCEPTIONAL job on our fence. We are absolutely thrilled with how it came out. We had an appointment for an estimate on a Thursday and the day before, the Bomb Cyclone came through knocking out power and fences everywhere. I figured they wouldn't show for the estimate, since there was so much going on, but Doug showed up right on time. He was personable and nice to chat with.
We had an estimate sent to us that same day and 6 days later, they came and built the fence. Adrian and his helper were efficient and surprisingly quiet (my husband and I work from home, so it can be an issue). In one day, they had everything done and it looks beautiful. They have excellent craftsmanship! We look forward to having them come back out to work on another portion of our fence next Spring.
We started our deck project three years ago, full of excitement and vision, after selecting what we thought was a quality composite deck product. Unfortunately, our experience with another company turned into a nightmare. The deck failed just months after installation. The company replaced it with what they claimed was a "newer generation," but that, too, failed shortly after. It was clear that this product was not suitable for the market, and we were left in search of a reliable company to make things right.
After countless contractor quotes, we finally met John from Rainier Fencing and Decking. Right from the start, I knew they were the right choice. John’s deep industry knowledge and expertise were evident throughout our conversation, and I felt confident that he fully understood our situation. Not only did John empathize with our dilemma, but he also worked tirelessly to price the project competitively, making it possible for us to move forward.
When his team got to work, they proved to be highly skilled craftsmen. They worked hard, paid attention to every detail, and even added beautiful, intricate touches to the deck that exceeded our expectations. The job site was always clean, and the professionalism they displayed made all the difference.
I can confidently say that Rainier Fencing and Decking is the best in the business. If you're looking for a team that delivers quality, expertise, and care, look no further. I highly recommend John and his crew – they truly saved our deck project!
Fence was put up incorrectly from the start. Bad wood used, nails sticking out throughout, wood slats bowing, discoloration. Bad costumer service lack of communication never showed up to fix. Do not recommend
