- HBHans BrakeleySep 12, 20241.0Booked a mini excavator rental a few weeks in advance, but 5 days prior to scheduled drop-off I was called and informed that the previous renter(s) had been allowed to extend their rental period. Because of this, United wouldn't be able to provide me the unit I booked. This doesn't really seem like how rentals should work. I was then offered a larger unit at the same price as the smaller one I had arranged for, which seemed fair, but quickly got a second phone call apologizing - that unit had been sold. I had the rug pulled out from under me twice and was ultimately left without a machine, and had to rent through another company at an increased rate. I'd recommend to rent elsewhere.
