  Hunter and his team were amazing! He gave us a call the morning of with an ETA, showed up right on time, and promptly got to work. He reviewed the plan with us and gave us an estimated time for the work. He and his crew were professional, respectful, and cleaned up the space really well once the work was completed. He took the time to review where the outlet pipe would be dug in case we wanted it placed differently and was thorough in his explanation of the system and the work that they did. From start (quoting with Kristian) to finish (installation of sump system with Hunter), Northern Basement Systems was an absolute pleasure to deal with! Can highly recommend them to anyone who has a leaky basement like we did!

  NBS is one of the best companies that I have ever dealt with. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, no pressure and friendly from the office staff to Brian there amazing inspection specialist. Would highly recommend for any foundation, or crawl space needs.

  I had Northern Basement Solutions excavate a significant amount of dirt and dry in the dirt floor, stacked rock foundation basement in our 1770's house. I can't praise their work enough, truly. The salesperson who came out was super knowledgeable, not pushy, and really worked hard to understand our goals and constraints. He quoted several tiers of work for us and really tried to meet our budget with what he could offer. Since there was some nuance with excavating (stone foundation with unknown depth below soil and some ledge to break out) he brought his head site foreman on a follow up quote to really understand the project. Once the crew showed up, they worked HARD! The foreman, Hunter, was an awesome communicator and really cared about providing a good customer experience. You could tell he was thinking like the homeowner- sometimes I would be about to ask if it might make sense to dig out a little in one area or shore up another and before I could he would bring it up and we could discuss options. Plus they were flexible with me being down there to make sure they had the electricity they needed or taking measurements. If it's not clear from the above, we're so happy with the end result and couldn't recommend these guys enough. The house already has drier and cleaner air (no more mustiness when we walk in from outside) and they fully delivered on their promises, even when it took longer to excavate than they expected. Thank you to everyone there who helped with our project!

  Luis, Jeff, and the whole team at Northern Basement Systems did such an amazing job encapsulating my 1800s basement! It’s unrecognizable, they got it done in 2 days and I can already tell my home will be 10x warmer next winter!🙏🏼🙌🏼 would give 10 stars if I could, highly recommend!

  I've been dealing with Northern Basements for about eight years and never anything but a positive experience-they are great! I had an appointment for 3/26 when last week my sump pump kept running and blowing the switch on the fuse box; I would reset it and the same thing happened. I called NB with questions and they were good enough to change my appointment to 3/17. Jesse was due to arrive at 12N and he got there earlier, ascertained the problem and wrapped it up in under an hour. Very personable and efficient. Also, a shout-out to Jamie and Charisma. Both very polite and patient with my questions. Thank You all and see you next year for the maintenance check.
