  We recently switched from Cassella after decades of using them to Gauthier and we couldn't be happier. From talking with Denise in the office who is very pleasant and easy to work with to having Travis as our driver who is just great, we are very pleased we made the switch. If you are looking for a waste disposal option that has a local vibe compared to the corporate one that Casella has evolved into, then I can't recommend Gauthier Trucking enough.

  Such a great company, crew always helpful, funny, friendly, and keep things clean as they go and they go the extra mile. When I called to end service after 15 years (relo,), I said the hardest part of moving is ending service w/Gauthier's. All around solid business, work ethic and customer service. Don’t forget to tip your driver/helper-they work hard and are consistently on-time with a great attitude. I’m a management geek and the company is all about management and solid customer service.

  They were unable to successfully pick up both the garbage and recycling in the 2 months we had service with them. Most of the time it was the recycling would be left. Every time we had to call and we would be questioned if the recycling was out early enough ( I dare say putting it out the night before should be suffice.). There would be an apology and they would eventually pick up the recycling and the same thing would occur on the next pickup. Find another company and avoid the headache.
