- BABarry AldrichApr 7, 20191.0Last week, I had my second unsuccessful visit to this store. I wanted to refurbish a vintage plumbing fixture which required incorporation of several missing parts. It was only a matter of determining the type of fittings that were compatible. The clerk at the Parts Desk must have been trained in how to deliver poor service with attitude and arrogance. Without giving my needs a moment's consideration, he said he couldn't help me, turned his back and I was thereby "dismissed." I went to his competitor, A&J Supply across town and within ten minutes, the cordial, helpful staff had fixed me up with everything I needed, all common, off-the-shelf, stock items. If you want an overpriced but pretty kitchen or bath, Ferguson is the place to go; otherwise, steer clear. They don't want your business and can't be bothered with you. It is no wonder that this company is referred to within the trade as "the F word."
