Really disappointed with the lack of communication and urgency. I bought my house about 7 months ago and started having issues with the furnace. I paid a significant amount for repairs, and they came out multiple times but I was repeatedly charged for what seemed like their own mistakes. On the last visit, the unit experienced flame rollout and ended up being completely fried. I was told they would provide a quote for a replacement and that someone would be out ASAP so I wouldn’t be without heat during the winter. After that, I heard nothing. I called once a week for weeks, and every time I was told they were “still waiting to get someone out my way.” As a result, I went the entire winter without heat—and without A/C as well because no one ever followed through or showed up. This level of service is unacceptable, especially when you’re relying on a company for something as essential as heating in the winter.

Ivey with One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning was absolutely amazing! He came out to fix my AC today and I couldn’t be more impressed. He was extremely patient, transparent, and provided top tier customer service, which is honestly hard to find these days. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and even repeated things as many times as I needed because I know nothing about AC, without ever making me feel rushed or overwhelmed. On top of that, he arrived within minutes, which was a huge relief. I truly appreciate his professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend Ivey to anyone needing AC service, you’ll be in great hands

The technicians from One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning were professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and friendly. Both Ivey and Nick deserve five stars for their professionalism and persistence. They stayed with a difficult HVAC issue and ultimately resolved it. I am giving four stars instead of five because the issue required a second visit, and the follow-up took eight days to schedule. I also felt the communication when I called back about the return visit could have been more courteous. That said, the final repair was successful, and I remain very satisfied overall with the service and service plans. My experience with the technicians themselves was excellent, and I would still gladly recommend One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning to others.

They showed up on time. Did thorough job of cleaning. Cleaned up behind themselves. Thank you Aden and Ohm job well done. Jay came back today. I turned AC on Saturday and it did not work. He found the breaker kicked due to wires not being reconnected from maintenance work a few days prior. Turned breaker on found wires reconnected them. AC works fine now. Thank you Jay for job well done and being so very kind. Andrew came today found the problem in about 10 minutes. He left to go get part. Replaced and checked to make sure unit was working. Very good tech. Explained as he went along. Very interesting to listen to. Very nice young man. Ask for him if you need service from here. Thank you Andrew.

I would stay far, far away from this company. I had a brand new unit installed by them in June 2021 for $11000. Within one year, it had completely failed. In less than 5 years, they have been making patchwork "fixes" over more than one dozen visits to limp this unit along, refusing the replace it. If you stop paying their "Comfort Club" membership (which I paid until recently), each diagnostic is $179, regardless of the fact that the cause of the failures is their own faulty installation and part failures. On their most recent visit, they recommended installation of a starter assist and drain pan for over $2000 - shortly after then, the unit has completely stopped working. Again. They warned we would have more issues if we didn't shell over the additional money in repairs. After having a neighbor who is an appliance and HVAC professional take a look, he warned us that the extra capacitor they had installed to replace the previously failed one likely burned up the unit. He told us there is exposed wiring, which is not up to code, and that the unit was installed upside down with air flow directed poorly which is causing mold in the top of the unit. Honestly, the list is absolutely endless... It is insane to me that they are still wanting us to pay a $179 diagnostic fee after all the money I have paid and inconvenience and discomfort (no AC in Virginia Beach during the summer...?) they have caused us. At this point looking into legal options for recourse after their customer service has refused to help us resolve the issue. Again. Edit in reply to the company's response: They are correct that not paying an additional $15/month forever will void any warranty you have on your system. Unfortunately, these issues were present and not addressed well before I canceled my membership, so there was really no reason to continue paying it, as they did not honor the warranty regardless. Per another HVAC professional's diagnostic, the issue that was identified in the August 2025 visit is related to the replacement of a part that was previously faulty and poorly installed upon replacement. Not to mention the exposed wiring and safety risks... Yet they still wanted to charge excessively for repairs to a new system that had been experiencing problems within 6 months of installation (really, within one month, if we want to get into the details. I have saved every receipt). So, no. I would not consider the company's actions remotely helpful, despite their claims.
