I’m very impressed with Seaboard Construction. My neighbor had them replace their entire roof and highly recommended Seaboard. I had them give me an estimate for the job and they finished it in one day! Very impressed with Russ and his crew including Ronney and the rest of his associates. I’m also having them come back and do some more work for me when the weather gets warmer.

Seaboard Construction did a great job at my house, even if it was just a small job! The workers worked hard even though the weather wasn’t very cooperative! I guess that’s expected during the winter! 🤷‍♀️🤣 There was only one weakness noted on this job, that was a lack of communication. It was hard to know if/when they would be coming. I would recommend this company to do large or small jobs around your house!

Excellent work. Russ was excellent to work with, responding to every question we had during the contract process and installation. Ronnie and his crew were heroic, working through the coldest days of the winter every day, leaving only when it was too dark to see. The cedar roof is beautiful. We couldn’t be more pleased.

Where do I start with this company. They came to my door to solicit business which was great because I had exterior work (storm doors) that I had been meaning to do. The rep said they would be happy to do the job so I made an appointment for a consultant to come and give a quote but was called at the time of the appointment to tell me they couldn't make it and we worked out a rescheduled appointment for the next day. The rescheduled appointment was completely blown off as a no-call no-show. I was contacted by a representative a week or so later asking if everything regarding the consultation was satisfactory. When I told them I had been blown-off they apologized and asked for another appointment. I agreed because they were apologetic and professional on the phone. The third attempt was missed by the worker who called to tell me they would be several hours late. That was the last I heard from them. I have never reached out to this company for business, they have always contacted me first and then assured me that they were interested in doing the work. I feel like my project was a low priority and they were okay with blowing me off, resulting in a lot of my time wasted sitting around waiting for someone who never showed up. They are probably great for larger roof projects but I would not recommend them for small-scale household projects.

The installation crew exhibited an exceptional work ethic and efficiency under the cold weather conditions that were present during the roofing installation. Your company and sales representative Roy Standing were easy to work with and true to their word

Frequently Asked Questions About Seaboard Construction

How do I know if I need a repair or a replacement?

During an inspection, your roofer should have gotten on the roof and taken pictures of any problem areas they saw and showed those to you. Small areas of damage like missing shingles or minor leaks can usually be repaired without extensive work. However, replacement is the best option when the roof is reaching or past its expected lifespan, consistent leaking occurs causing water stains in your attic or on ceilings, or if there’s extensive shingle damage due to rain, wind, or debris.

What factors into the cost of a roof replacement?

Roof replacements are priced on a house-by-house basis. If the roof has a low slope and a relatively simple design the replacement will be less than a roof that has more design features and steep slopes. Additionally, if there is any substructure damage due to leaks or debris impacts, that will increase the cost.
